The German man claims to use supernatural powers to manipulate metal, just like the X-Men supervillain.
Miroslav Magola says that his abilities are so strong that metal objects are kept on his body even while jumping. The unusual German insists that he does the tricks thanks to a special psychic energy, with the help of which his mind affects matter and connects the body with objects. The man insists that he doesn't use glue or anything similar.
“I learned that I could manipulate non-living objects in the early 90s. Since then, I have spent years perfecting technique and researching human magnetism. I can defy gravity because I load myself with energy. I am determined to develop my unique abilities further,”said 55-year-old Magola in an interview. The man also added that he is currently working with telepathy.
In the X-Men comic book and movie series, Magneto, played by Sir Ian McKellen, is capable of manipulating electromagnetic fields, which means he can stop bullets and make huge metal objects fly like submarines and tanks.
Magola has not yet reached this level of skill and is often called a charlatan. However, the man denies all accusations of fraud, stating that anyone can potentially develop superpowers.
One of Magola's main goals is a $ 1,000,000 prize that has remained unclaimed for five decades. The reward will be received by the one who can prove that he has supernatural powers. The prize was established by the famous magician and skeptic James Randy in 1964 for those who can prove the existence of telepathy, psionics, dowsing and other supernatural abilities.
Magola, seeking to debunk the myths surrounding human magnetism, intends to attempt to get a million in the near future.
