In India, a 55-year-old man was sacrificed by a group of occultists to make it rain and harvest. The headless body of a man named Thepa Kharia was found at his home in the eastern state of Jharkhand.

According to police, the man was killed on May 31. Relatives believe that representatives of the "Orc" or "Mudkatwa" sect dealt with him. They bury human heads in rice fields, believing that it will help make it rain.

According to the Hindustan Times, the man lived alone. In the morning he did not come to the market as usual, and the neighbors were worried. Arriving at the man's home, they found a body lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

However, none of the villagers dares to complain about the sectarians because of the fear of them. The younger brother of the deceased said: "Anyone can be a sectarian - from farmers to Tantrists." Anyway, the police started looking for the killers.

"Mudkatwa" has existed in India for many centuries and has been practicing bloody rituals all this time. Cases of ritual beheadings are recorded almost every year. So, in 2012, a resident of the city of Lohardag sacrificed his wife. And in 2013, residents of Gumla County rescued a girl from beheading.

Probably, the cultists decided to carry out their cruel ritual in connection with the abnormal heat, which has been in India for more than two weeks. The air temperature in some places rises to 47 degrees. More than two thousand people have already become victims of the unprecedented heat.
