Ari Vibowo sheds his skin like a snake every two days. The boy is forced to constantly coat his body with moisturizer in order to somehow stop her peeling.
The teenager suffers from a rare skin condition and cannot be cured by doctors in his native Indonesia. Ari's disease - erythroderma, is an inflammatory skin disorder also known as red man syndrome, which causes virtually all of the skin to become scaly.
Ari is now 16 years old, and since birth, every two days, he literally sheds his skin. The boy is forced to constantly keep his body moist so that it does not dry out. If Ari does not cover his body with various lotions and creams, then after a few hours his body will harden and he will not even be able to move.
None of the local schools agreed to accept Ari, as they fear that his disease is contagious. Therefore, Ari is forced to study on his own.

The doctors told the boy's family that they could not cure him and there was no chance of his recovery at all. And now Ari is forced, resigned to his unusual appearance, to try to live on, almost like an "ordinary" person.
