The chief hominologist of Russia Igor Burtsev spoke about the experience of researching the Yeti.
Canadian scientists are sure that Bigfoot is not fiction, but actually exists. Unknown scraps of wool became the reason for confidence. Their examination showed that the sample does not belong to any animal known to science.
Pieces of wool were found not far from a den that had been examined earlier. There were animal bones in the beast's den. Scientists initially suggested that the den belonged to a bear or a whole bear family, but no clubfoot tracks were found in the area.
The wool was sent for additional examination. CCTV cameras are installed in the den.
The correspondent of the Politics Segodnya news agency discussed the discovery of Canadian scientists with a cryptozoologist, hominologist, head of the Moscow office of the International Center for Hominology, a science related to the study of the Yeti, Igor Burtsev.
“I was in Canada and I have many friends there who are studying Bigfoot,” says Burtsev. "But I was not aware of this particular case."
The expert spoke about 11 samples of biomaterial studied by a group of geneticists for five years.
"They discovered and recreated three complete genomes and 20 mitochondrial DNA and concluded that Bigfoot is actually a hybrid of a human with an unknown creature," he said.
