Many believers have heard the legend about the Virgin Mary and the Immaculate Conception of Jesus Christ. More interesting is not even the legend itself about Mary's conception of a child thanks to the miracle and power of God, but a large number of supporters of this version.

Such a story does not arouse fake interest in me and I decided to start studying the question of the Most Holy Mary. How could such a miracle happen. Maybe in ancient times there was an IVF procedure, because in our time medicine can work such miracles? Or maybe Mary is not at all sinless and succumbed to temptation with a man?

Having studied some sources on the topic of Mary and Christ, we managed to find a lot of information. So one of the sources says the following:

Ah, well, everything is clear! Is the whole problem in the wrong interpretation, or rather the translation? She is not a virgin and there was no miracle.

But another thing is also interesting, namely, that the Russian Orthodox Church does not like to talk about this topic and, in fact, observe neutrality in statements. But in the Roman Catholic Church they believe in such a miracle and consider Mary to be sinless. It turns out that not all religions of the world unconditionally adhere to the version that Mary was able to give birth to Christ without intimacy with a man.

What will I add from myself? In various ancient texts, there are references to creatures that could fertilize themselves, without the participation of a second creature or person.

Among such concepts there are hermaphrodites, who could theoretically fertilize themselves without outside help. So it might be worth looking for an answer about Mary's Immaculate Conception in this direction?
