Many holes especially in Egypt (although they are all over the world) are fully machined inside with perfect parallel lines around the entire diameter. In other words, this, in theory, is formed only from a rotating tool.
It's just that this tool is difficult to answer. And yes, various primitive methods in the form of a stick with sand, and other methods of drilling stones in this case do not explain anything, because in some cases they drilled, so to speak, both granite and basalt, and all this could be with a large hole diameter and depth up to 4-5 meters.
Only on this, as I said, I will not dwell, although drilling in the past is a big and unresolved issue among historians. But then it gets more interesting, because these are sawing marks.
Something similar to the traces of a circular saw can be seen all in the same Egypt, and not only there. Such traces were found both in the form of circular cuts and in a straight line, but in essence, everything is the same.

This is a fairly smooth surface, perfectly smooth cutting and a wide variety of materials, up to the most difficult to process.
Often, by the way, I have read and heard about the version with laser sawing in the past, and no matter how fantastic it sounds, this is quite possible, given that our civilization, one way or another, is heading for this.
If the existence of such technology in the distant past were proven, it would explain a lot. Since such a sawing could be performed according to ideal calculations in conjunction with surface treatment.
In addition to this, it is worth mentioning the footprints on the stones, which are allegedly explained by belemnites (ancient mollusks). By the way, by the way, in the comments under one of the articles, they wrote the same thing, and many more.
In fact, if some separate part of such traces is from the belemnites, then most of those that I cited as an example are traces of something unknown.
It could have been a weapon, or some kind of tool, but the fact is that the stone was processed. The tracks, as you can see, are rounded, and the inside was quite well processed.
And the most interesting thing that I have already noted many times and wrote a separate article is the traces of rock indentation. As a rule, these are square footprints, as if from some kind of mechanism or technique that pressed the surface of the stone up to 20-30 centimeters.
What is most surprising is that there are such traces on the steep rocks, and as far as I remember, I saw somewhere even on the ceiling of some ancient structure.
These indentations were made on structures, but for the most part these are the most ordinary stones that no one needs. But why then did they do it and, most importantly, how? These questions remain unanswered.
But in the main article on this topic, I came to my own conclusion that this is how some technique was tested on ordinary stones. It's hard for me to find another explanation.
There is little more to say about 3D printer technology and block copying, but this is very controversial. In short, while studying some of the statues in Egypt (if I am not mistaken Ramses II), experts came to the conclusion that this is a computer model with the precision of elements that cannot be made manually.
Plus, in the same Egypt, in one of the temples (I don't remember exactly which one), perfectly identical blocks were found, down to a millimeter and angles.
There are still quite a few such not very explainable traces of technologies and tools of the past in the world, but I wrote about the most interesting in my opinion.
