The Nikolskoye-Cherenchitsy estate is located in the Tver region of Russia, the Torzhok region and, besides other interesting architectural buildings, there is one of the most mysterious - the Pyramid-cellar, built at the same time, like all other buildings of this unique estate in 1789.
Construction of his estate N. A. Lvov started working in 1780. Its family nest - Cherenchitsy, architect N. A. Lviv has furnished it completely to his liking. Lvov called the estate by his own name and the name of his heavenly patron Nikolai - Nikolskoye.

Lvov carried out drainage, drained the swamp and turned Nikolskoye into a picturesque estate ensemble with a huge economic complex: a cattle yard, barns, a granary, a windmill, a stable, cellars, a smithy. The hydraulic engineering system was developed very professionally, which included: five artificial ponds, dams, a drainage network, a wooden underground water pipeline, several key wells.
Nikolai Alexandrovich equipped his house with innovations and conveniences. For example, from a well located inside the building, a water-lifting machine supplied water to the mezzanine, and the house was heated by an air system. Fireplaces also had a special device - fresh air entered through the vents in the outer wall of the house, passing through the fireplace coil, it heated up, then through the channel it entered the original vases filled with rose water that stood next to the fireplace. air filled the rooms.
The architect created his own design of "oven" stoves for heating adjacent rooms. Long before the advent of water heating, Lvov invented a "steam kitchen" - steam cooked food, washed dishes, and rotated spits.
Pyramid-cellar in Nikolskoye is three-tiered. The upper tier is a light-ventilation chamber, the second is ground-based, it is a kind of pavilion. The lower tier of the pyramid is a glacier; a separate arched underground entrance leads into it. The glacier used natural groundwater, which was frozen in the underground storage tank to the bottom in winter due to a well-thought-out ventilation system.
The entrance to the cellar is decorated with an arch made of rough limestone, which contrasts with the smooth surface of the walls of the pyramid. There are semicircular niches on both sides of the entrance. The wall of the loggia with the entrance door was plastered and painted with frescoes, which created a transition to the interior.
The height of the pyramid is 7.35 m, the base of the edge is 8.96 m. Facing slabs about 8 cm thick are connected to each other in a tongue. The inner space of the pyramid is a system of three domed vaults, arranged in three tiers, with a common central axis. Fragments of interior painting made using the grisaille technique have been preserved. The vault is decorated with a rosette and an ornament in burgundy-silver tones, a garland of flowers and ribbons runs along the upper part of the walls, a balustrade is depicted at the bottom of the wall, along the perimeter.
Everything suggests that N. A. Lvov was well aware of the magical properties of the pyramids and skillfully applied them in practice. For example, his wines, aged and stored in a cellar inside the pyramid, were famous for their excellent quality not only in Tverskaya, but also in neighboring provinces.
Already today, scientists have proven that dry wines aged in the pyramid (9-12%), especially red ones, have medicinal properties: they have a beneficial effect on the immune system and the state of the walls of blood vessels, improving blood circulation and restoring the biorhythms of the vascular system. When exposed in a pyramid of strong alcoholic beverages, the action of fusel oils is neutralized, and people who use them do not have a hangover syndrome.
The seed grain stored in the pyramid produced excellent yields: 30-70% more than the grain stored in conventional barns. However, the limited area of the warehouse did not allow a lot of grain to be poured there, besides Lviv, a person far from agriculture, did not strive for this, focusing on winemaking, which brought good income.
It must also be said that vegetables and fruits inside the pyramid were not only perfectly preserved, but also acquired special qualities. The energy fields of the pyramid ennobled the structure of products, making them more useful and assimilable for the body, and also giving them additional healing properties.
In the pyramid it was good to hide from the summer sun, to taste fruits and soft drinks. According to some reports, the entire flower of the aristocracy often gathered here and even Masonic rituals were carried out.
Perhaps this pyramid was a secret laboratory in which Russian Freemasons conducted their experiments. Judging by the preserved records of N. A. Lvov, they tried to control the flows of some invisible energy. It was believed that 13 members of the lodge, casting special spells during the ritual inside the pyramid, can influence the consciousness of people no less.
