There are many mysterious places on our planet, where people did not disappear in isolated cases, but disappeared in dozens or even hundreds. In such places, devices behave strangely and often fail, often such places are called anomalous zones. Perhaps the most famous site is the Bermuda Triangle, but there are many more places that have received notoriety.
1. In North Carolina there is a place called the Roanoke Colony or "The Lost Colony". About five hundred people tried to settle in these places, but disappeared under mysterious circumstances. You may have heard about this place from the American Horror Story series, where the plot is based on witches, mysterious rituals and ghosts. No one can really say where people have disappeared in reality. Is the place really cursed?
2. Between Michigan and Wisconsin there is a mystical triangle called the Michigan Triangle. In the 50s of the last century, an airplane with sixty passengers on board mysteriously disappeared in this place and, interestingly, the wreckage of the ship was not found.
There is a theory that the plane could have entered another dimension or moved in time, but there is no evidence of this.
3. The Sargasso Sea is also a rather mysterious place in some areas, and there is a legend that the ghost ship "Mary Celeste" with a team of sailors who had long disappeared in these places was often noticed on it.
There are even people who claim to have seen the famous ship with their own eyes, but there are few people who believe in such stories.
4. The Highway of Tears is a mysterious place where about 20 girls at the age of 15 went missing. The police officers made every possible effort to find out the reason for the disappearance of the girls, but they could not solve this mystery.
It is possible that some maniac was operating in the area.
5. Lake Angikuni is located in Canada. In the 30s of the last century, houses were discovered here, in which candles were burning and food was on the tables. However, not a single person was found and the people seemed to evaporate. Many dogs were found tied in chains and starving to death.
6. National parks of America, in which more than 1000 people have disappeared over the past 150 years. Many of the missing tourists were seasoned travelers, but it is not clear where they went. Maybe they got lost, or maybe they met wild animals on the way.
