Lamb Jake Peg on his five legs perfectly runs and frolics along with his brothers and sisters. An extra leg of a lamb bothers only people
The lamb was born last week with two normal hind legs and three front legs. But the strange changes don't stop Jake from jumping into the field with hundreds of other newborn lambs.
And he continues to amaze his owners, because most of the lambs who are born with such injuries do not live long.
Owner Pop Hopcraft said: "It's okay, we've had over 600 lambs born in the last few weeks and some of them are inevitably born with deformities, but they don't usually live long and it's rare that a lamb is born healthy with five legs." …
But Jake Peg is doing well enough that he doesn't seem to be uncomfortable. The lamb was born in triplets, which makes it even more unusual. Jake was healthy enough to survive with a cripple.
Pop added, “I pinched his extra leg with a rubber band and it will fall off after a while. There is a bone inside the extra leg, but it's not connected to Jake's other bones, so it won't affect him."
In the meantime, Jake jumps out bravo on all his legs, denying all the ideas of people about animals with deformities.
