Even today, in our technological age, a lot of people attend church and firmly believe that some force acts and interferes in human life.
In fact, there is nothing wrong with this, but there are moments that darken such a good deed as faith in God. It was this fact that gave rise to belief in the effectiveness of such a ritual.
So let's see if such a ritual can really harm? Of course it cannot. There is clearly a purely psychological factor at work. Only a person with a weak psyche can take this ritual seriously. In fact, according to the clergy, such actions have no consequences. In the church, all objects are illuminated and, by definition, cannot harm.
Well, even a believing person is confident in the justice of his god, and must understand that higher powers will not indulge a pitiful man who thus decides to settle scores with his hated opponent. Moreover, such actions are in themselves sinful, and everything that this person does wrong will be turned against him. Even if a person found out that a funeral candle was placed on him, he should have treated it with a cool head. You can just ask the priest for advice, or you can defend the service yourself and pray for health.
Any believer is sure that he is under the protection of God, which means that no one can harm even one iota by conducting some kind of ritual there. Is it possible to compete with God in opportunities to change destiny? Well, non-believers already know that such actions cannot change a person's life and health.
