No sooner had the news in the press that the pilots of the Navy had met with an unidentified flying object, when another informational occasion appeared - the residents of Sky Valley also witnessed mysterious lights over the city.
Several Sky Valley residents reported flickering lights hovering in the night sky on Monday. According to Mat Siltala, the luminous objects changed the shape of their flight several times.
He reported that when he first saw the lights, they were V-shaped, and then regrouped a bit and became like Santa's staff.
The eyewitness was not taken aback and ran home for a camera to take pictures of what he saw.
Mat clarified that the luminous UFOs were moving very slowly, gradually rising higher and higher. This gave him the idea that it could be sky lanterns or balloons. However, the organized and well-coordinated movement of the group of lights made him question this theory.
There were also other eyewitnesses who saw UFOs. One of them, Irwin Helzer, said that the lights flew very high and constantly changed the intensity of the glow. Sometimes they seemed to become completely transparent and then flashed like flares.
Ian Gregor of the Federal Aviation Administration said he hadn't received any reports of unusual activity in Sky Valley on Monday night.
According to Ryan Smith, director of public relations for the local airport, their dispatchers did not report any strange events either. He added that no one has received permits for drone flights in the area either.
