Julie Cockcroft and her friends, who live in Wakefield, recently experienced this personally by visiting a cultural institution during a tour and photographing something unusual there. The mysterious picture has already flown around many English-language sites devoted to the paranormal.
Julie, fifty-five, brought a camera to the museum and took some pictures there. In one of her photos, the woman decided to capture an old semi-illuminated staircase near the window. According to Cockcroft, no one was on the stairs at the time of the shooting. However, after viewing this image later, the shocked Englishwoman noticed on it a certain person in dark clothes, who was walking down the stairs - apparently, directly towards her. If you look closely, you can see his head with dark hair, his back and even a pale hand gripping the rail.
The author of the photo is convinced that she managed to photograph the so-called Woman in Black, a famous character from British urban legends. It is believed that this is a legendary ghost that can appear anywhere in Foggy Albion, however, it prefers to materialize more in ancient buildings with a rich history. The building in which the Bolling Hall is located falls under this definition. It was built at the beginning of the fourteenth century and since then has changed almost a hundred owners.
