A lot of information has been preserved about the vimanas …
Let us recall that the Vimana structure in the Vimanika Shastra is described as follows:
“His body should be strong and durable, made of lightweight material, like a large flying bird. A device with mercury and an iron heating device underneath should be placed inside. Through the force that lurks in mercury and which sets in motion the carrying vortex, a person inside this chariot can fly long distances across the sky in the most amazing way. Four sturdy containers for mercury should be placed inside. When they are heated with controlled fire from iron fixtures, the chariot will develop the power of thunder thanks to mercury. And she immediately turns into a "pearl in the sky."
For a long time it was believed that the described engine was very harmful, because released toxic mercury into the atmosphere. Attempts to recreate such an engine were made in the Middle Ages, and in our time, in particular, the "Vortex inertial mercury engine" was created and the effect was obtained in the form of a loss of several kilograms of weight.
The Vimaana uses the principles of the theory of relativity:
If a body approaches the speed of light, its mass and linear dimensions tend to infinity, the course of time on the object stops as it approaches the speed of light, and when the speed of light is theoretically exceeded, the course of time on the object will go in the opposite direction.
In a straight line, accelerating an object for light speeds on Earth is not particularly where, and it is difficult, but trying to reach near-light speeds when an object moves in a circle is much easier.
So why mercury? Mercury is liquid and has electromagnetic properties, i.e. it is easy to make it move due to electromagnetic fields.
Promotional video:
That is, we take a hollow donut made of durable non-magnetic metal, fill it with mercury, pump out the air. Place electromagnetic coils around the donut and create a rotating electromagnetic field. This field will make the mercury spin. We can rotate the electromagnetic field at almost any speed, and, therefore, the mercury in the donut will rotate at a very high speed.
According to the theory of relativity, the weight of mercury will increase, respectively, the gravitational field around the donut will also begin to increase, and it will interact with the gravitational field of the Earth. Most likely, depending on the direction of rotation, gravity will be with a plus or minus sign.
All of the above is easy enough to verify in practice using experience.
If all this works in practice, then a very interesting conclusion can be drawn: the very structure of the vimaana and its creation is quite simple. And it is probably not so much about the technologies of the "gods" as about the flying machines of the "demigods" - which were entrusted with the simplest things and devices …
