Many versions have not been born in more than half a century after the tragedy that happened to the Dyatlov group at the pass, better known before the February 1959 incident as the Mountain of the Dead. There were even seemingly absurd assumptions that the guys were killed by foreign spies, with whom they went to a meeting to establish contacts, in order to then misinform the Western services.
According to another version, Dyatlov's group was destroyed by local Khanty shamans in revenge for the fact that reckless youth visited ancient burial places and violated the spiritual traditions established here. Theories of alien intervention were also put forward, several mystical, associated with the special status of this mountain, on which people died before, and always in a mysterious way. In general, over the years, the Dyatlov Pass has acquired not only legends, but also people who made good money on all this.
In the new documentary by Anna Chapman, "The Mystery Revealed", another attempt is made to gather all the information about this tragedy together and, on the basis of this, draw a conclusion - what actually happened on that February night on the mysterious pass? However, the film is also interesting for many other details that over the years this story has acquired, which has successfully migrated from the Soviet period to the current Russian reality.
