In the Jugsalai police station in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand state, invisible ghosts have appeared, frightening law enforcement officers.

According to the local media, for some time now the fear of ghosts among the police is such that now no one is left on night watch. By 11 pm there is not a single daredevil here.

Many eyewitnesses tell how they personally saw the frightened policemen running out of this station in the evening.

The authorities say that in order to cleanse the premises of supernatural forces, the police will organize collective prayers in this area every month on a mandatory basis and make offerings for invisible spirits to ward off the ghosts that frighten them.

“Nobody wants to work here. And those who work are constantly in shock because of sudden attacks of intense terror,”one of the policemen told reporters.

Police reports feature strange noises inside the precinct that are audible as soon as night falls, and become even louder shortly after midnight.

According to an eyewitness, telephone lines in the station also fail regularly, despite the best efforts of the technicians.

“We repair telephone lines every day, but it's strange that they stop working by the evening. This is an everyday problem."

According to another police officer, at the site where the ghostly site is located, there was previously a place for cremation of the dead.

“Obviously, this is the main reason why our police station is dominated by ghosts,” he explained.

Moreover, this is not the only such place in India. A cremation site in the Began Kodar district of West Bengal was built many years ago by a train station, which was closed in 1967 after it was deemed a "bad place."

Before the closure of the station, the media reported about a railroad employee who died when he allegedly saw "a ghost in white robes (death dress) walking on rails in the middle of the night."

However, now this station is open again and it is quite a busy place. No new ghosts have been reported there yet.
