In one of my recent articles about St. Isaac's Cathedral, or rather about the columns of the cathedral, I gave an example of how the columns are made now and that it is most likely impossible to make something similar to the columns of India.
Modern technologies allow making small fragments of columns, after which they are assembled. In St. Isaac's Cathedral, as in India, and in other places, the columns are monolithic and they are really huge.
But it is in India that you can see such masterpieces in the form of columns. Looking at them, one gets the impression that he has fallen into some kind of fairy tale, so the smallest ideal elements are difficult to explain even with the most modern technologies.
According to the official history, the columns in India, of course, were made with primitive instruments, which is complete nonsense, just at the first glance at these columns.
It is impossible to do this with rough work, and even more so with primitive tools, a high-tech machine is capable of this. And after all, not only do you need to cut out all these smallest details on the column, something else must hold it, and many of the columns in India reach 3-5 meters.
For example, looking at the image of one of the columns below, it is even difficult to imagine what kind of technician or machine, for example, should be to make everything so perfect. And often the columns are made of granite, which complicates any processing at times.

As I have already noted several times, the architecture of ancient India, especially temples, is somehow fabulous and incredible, which can be seen only in some places on the planet.
You can also touch on the equally amazing basalt columns. They are located in an Indian temple called Warangal, about which I will write a separate article later.
It can be seen that these columns are quite thick, which again should cause additional processing problems. Basalt itself on the Mohs scale has a hardness almost like granite - 6-7, which once again speaks of the complexity of processing.
Whoever said anything about the masters in ancient India, it is impossible to create so many amazing things, from wells to these temples, without technology, and this should be obvious.
As for the columns, one can only guess with what they were made, cut out and created small elements, but this is definitely not manual work. Whether there were some high-tech huge machines or other technologies that are now unknown to us, we can only guess.
