Some of the most interesting artifacts that tell about the history of the Earth are ancient maps of our planet, and even ancient globes.
It turns out that the latter "came" to us not only from the Middle Ages (the Hunt-Lenox copper globe, dated 1504-1506, is considered the oldest, although its "leadership" is seriously challenged by the globe of Stefan Messin, made on the shell of an ostrich egg), but even from where more ancient world.
For example, in 1984, an expedition of scientists led by Elias Sotomayor discovered many stone artifacts in the La Mana mountain range (modern Ecuador), among which the most ancient globe of the Earth stood out. Of course, it is far from the traditional round shape for us: apparently, the master of this atlas did not particularly bother with this problem, taking the first suitable boulder for work. In addition, there is a hunch that the creator of this globe was well aware that our planet is not really a perfectly round shape.
But this is not the uniqueness of the oldest globe, but the fact that the location of the continents and continents on it is somewhat different from the modern one. And if on this stone atlas one can easily trace, for example, the Italian peninsula, Greece, India, the Persian Gulf, then, starting from East Asia and further towards America, the picture clearly does not coincide with today's maps of the Earth. Here a mysterious continent suddenly appears.
At the same time, Florida and the Caribbean cannot be found on this stone globe, but in the Pacific Ocean, just on the equator line, a huge continent “appears”. And Japan merges with it, that is, no island state, which we call today the Land of the Rising Sun, does not exist.
Many researchers recognized the mysterious continent on the stone atlas of the Earth as the legendary continent of Mu, about which the scientist M. Kimura told the world at one time. He believed that Mu also plunged into the water, like the no less fantastic Atlantis described by Plato.

For this reason, the researchers of the stone globe even suggested that Atlantis and Mu could well be the same continent, just information about them came down to us in different interpretations and names. This theory is supported, for example, by the genetic relationship between modern Japanese and Indians. And if orthodox science refutes it because of the huge water barrier (ocean) between these peoples (their ancestors), then the presence of an unknown continent on a stone globe makes this connection both possible and logical.
Academic science, we note, was skeptical about the stone atlas, like other amazing artifacts by Elias Sotomayor. Moreover, it is not possible to determine the age of this globe (radiocarbon analysis is not acceptable for stones, although some researchers believe that this boulder is at least 12 thousand years old), which means that it is impossible to say with accuracy when it was created, which civilization turned out to be capable of such as what is actually reflected in this atlas.
