Very often in our lives strange and mysterious tragedies occur, for which no one can give an explanation. So, for example, despite the fact that airplanes are considered to be the safest mode of transport, plane crashes do occur quite often. Naturally, after each such tragedy, an investigation is carried out, but not everyone managed to find at least some logical explanation.

One of the most famous tragedies, filled with secrets, occurred in early December 1945 over the Bermuda Triangle. Departure 19 was a training session. Then five Avenger torpedo bombers took off. The flight was led by experienced pilot-instructor Charles Taylor.

During takeoff, the weather was clear and everything went well at first. However, after about an hour and a half, the planes for some reason deviated from the set course. It is clear from radio communications that Taylor's compass is out of order. Controllers tried to return the planes to the base, but the pilots drove the planes further and further towards the ocean.

After a while, the connection between the planes and the control center was lost, and no one else heard anything about them. It is noteworthy that Taylor ordered all five aircraft to stick together so that, if necessary, splash down. In the event of a fuel shortage, everyone had to go down. Thus, the version that the tragedy occurred as a result of a lack of fuel is untenable. The strangest thing in this whole story is that the rescue plane sent in search of the squadron also disappeared. According to some experts, it exploded because the car simply disappeared from the radar.

Interestingly, a few days before the flight, Taylor tried to cancel it, but was refused.

Due to the fact that no explanation was provided for the disaster, experts attributed the death of the squadron to the anomalous forces of the Bermuda Triangle.

No less mysterious disappearance of the plane happened over the Andes. In 1947, the Star Dast plane that took off from Buenos Aires towards Santiago, quite unexpectedly, a few minutes before landing, disappeared in the mountains.

Shortly before disappearing, the pilot transmitted a strange message that consisted of only one word "STENDEC". Nobody else saw the car. The wreckage was also not found. Interestingly, this aircraft was previously a military transport aircraft, so it could reach speeds of up to 500 kilometers per hour and rise to an altitude of 6 kilometers. Therefore, it was not difficult for him to overcome the mountain peaks.

Only in 1998 were the fragments of the engine discovered by climbers. After that, the specialists resumed the search for the aircraft. He was soon found. According to the official version, the plane deviated from the set course and crashed into the mountains due to poor visibility. However, the mystery of the last message received from the aircraft remained unsolved.

Similar catastrophes happened later. So, in particular, in 1962, the American military aircraft "Flying Tiger" was engaged in the transportation of supplies and soldiers to Saigon. He flew out of California without any problems. But after refueling in Guam and taking off, he disappeared over the Philippine Sea. No help was reported and the weather was clear.

Four military units were involved in the search activities, but the searches were unsuccessful. Thus, more than a hundred people who were on board the "Tiger" were declared dead. The remains of the plane were never found. This story was overgrown with numerous guesses and rumors. According to some people who claimed to have seen the plane, they saw a flash of light at the location where the car was supposed to be. Due to the continued armed conflicts in Vietnam, a version of sabotage arose. More sane experts argued that the cause of the disaster lay in a faulty engine, which lost power a few days before the flight.

It should be noted that sabotage was also seen in the disaster that occurred in 1996, when a civilian plane crashed on Trans World Airlines Flight 800. The tragedy occurred 12 minutes after takeoff, more than 200 people died.

For four years, an investigation was carried out, as a result of which experts established that the tragedy was due to a malfunction in the electrical wiring, which caused a spark and provoked the fuel to set fire. At first glance, everything is logical, but eyewitnesses who gave testimony to the FBI unanimously claimed that they saw a beam of light ascending to the liner, causing a fireball to appear.

This testimony, according to some experts, is evidence that the plane was shot down by a missile fired during military exercises in the navy, held nearby. In addition, there are hypotheses that the American special services specially concealed traces of explosives on the wreckage of the aircraft.

The tragedy also happened in 1996 in Azerbaijan. The Yak-40 aircraft, according to the official version, suffered a catastrophe due to the destruction of oxygen cylinders by firearms. Moreover, a soldier was even detained, who at that time was shooting in the immediate vicinity of the crash site. According to the results of an official investigation, holes 8 millimeters in diameter were found in two aircraft cylinders. Examination found copper plating in the holes and cylinders, which confirms the bullet damage. The forensic examination also confirmed the "bullet" version. It would seem that everything is obvious - the culprit of the disaster was a soldier who shot in the wrong place and got into oxygen tanks. However, when conducting an electronic examination of the "bullet" hole under a microscope, it was found that the bullet not only entered the balloon, but also exited it,which in itself is unlikely. The outlet was not found, but the researchers say it was on the part of the tanks that collapsed during the fall. The bullet itself was also not found. Thus, this mystery has remained unsolved, but now we can confidently say that the soldier is not to blame.

A year later, in 1997, the Boeing-747 was supposed to fly to Thessaloniki from Odessa, but a malfunction was discovered on the eve of departure. For this reason, the Yak-42 was called from Lviv, which took off along the route. This flight was the last for the car and for all passengers. The plane arrived safely to its destination, at an altitude of 250 meters, it crossed the runway, but then for some unknown reason began to move away from the airport. The board was at an altitude of about two kilometers, and to all dispatchers' requests, the crew answered that they were in the place indicated by them and were performing a maneuver to go around. But in reality the plane was flying in the opposite direction from the airport. The tragedy took place in the mountains at an altitude of about 70 kilometers. As a result, everyone on board died. An investigation was carried out with the participation of Ukrainian, Russian and Greek specialists. However, until now, no one has been able to answer the question of what forced the crew members to make a fatal maneuver.

In the same 1997, another strange tragedy occurred - in Irkutsk, an An-124 military transport plane crashed into a residential area during takeoff. A few seconds after taking off from the ground, the third and first engines were turned off, and then the second engine also failed. The crew members made an attempt to keep the car on the remaining engine, but this was unsuccessful. More than 70 people died as a result of the disaster. This tragedy is full of conflicting mysteries and unsolved mysteries. All attempts to establish for what reasons the engines failed have led nowhere. The black boxes were badly damaged, so it was not possible to determine the reasons for their shutdown …

According to experts, very often the reasons for equipment failure in aircraft are anomalous phenomena and various phenomena that are inexplicable and incomprehensible to science. Plane crashes and plane disappearances can be triggered by strange natural phenomena. It is impossible to say for sure that such assumptions are true. Without a doubt, many accidents occur due to various kinds of design flaws, weak security systems, which initially seem petty and not of great importance, until they lead to numerous deaths.

However, a certain amount of mysticism cannot be ruled out either. Science and specialists studying the causes of disasters are currently not able to refute or prove that certain supernatural forces have anything to do with disasters. After all, if the reasons, including military operations, bad weather conditions and errors of dispatchers and pilots, can be easily explained, then the situation with an unexpected failure of on-board computers is much more complicated. According to skeptics, all these tragedies can be found quite logical, scientific justification. Well, it is likely that this is so, however, in all likelihood, modern scientists cannot yet do this …
