Today, August 19, an important event for Ukraine took place. In the glorious city of Kharkov, the construction of the metro station "Peremoga", which means "Victory", has been completed. This facility has been under construction for a whole twenty years, the children born in the year of the laying have already grown up, and some of them today are participating in the ATO, and on both sides of the front. The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of President Poroshenko himself, he awarded the best metro builders and made a speech in which, of course, he mentioned the main source of all Ukrainian troubles. At the same time, Petro Poroshenko expressed hope for the early receipt of new loans, the acquisition of a visa-free regime and other benefits that will inevitably be received from the European Union, and also hinted at a certain symbolism of the station's name. Well, the president also mentioned the construction of some new enterprises, however, he did not list them. Against the background of such an overwhelming success of the Ukrainian economy, an ordinary Russian will involuntarily think about what is happening in his home country. Maybe Russia is hopelessly lagging behind? Well, you can take the events of the last couple of days and figure out how things are going.

Large barn

You can start with the modest news about a large cowshed built in the Orenburg region (SEC named after Kirov, Oktyabrsky district). Rather, there are two of them, this is a complex for hundreds of heads, including the most modern equipment, having its own maternity ward and even a dispensary for animals. The milking process is automated, there is a milk pipe. The complex is equipped with a food supply and other infrastructure. The livestock is elite, highly productive. Well, probably not everyone is interested. The cowshed is big, that's all. Moreover, it was long-term construction, the facility was erected and equipment mounted for a whole year. Okay, you can find more interesting news.

It is these mineral powders and reinforcing additives (chrysotile fiber) that will now be produced by the Orenburg Minerals Joint Stock Company. This is a strong blow to one of the main Russian troubles, namely, bad roads. 400 million rubles have been invested in the production, since yesterday it began shipping products to consumers. But this news, perhaps, does not sound effective enough. Okay, will the technopark be fine?

And it's all?

No, not everything. In fact, new production facilities are opening in Russia every day, ships are launched, prototypes of airplanes take off into the sky, other important events for the national economy take place, but news channels rarely talk about this. It is possible that the broad masses are in fact not as interesting as various sensations. Here's some more recent news: Aeroflot has leased a dozen domestic Superjets. A new plant producing polyethylene pipes was opened in the Samara region. It's in two days.

Sometimes the citizens of Russia may need to be reminded that they live in a great country.
