UFOs come into the field of view not only of bystanders, who can only try to take photographs or video recordings, but also sometimes flash on the radars of military aircraft.
The latter make attempts to approach unidentified objects in order to study, capture or fire, but unsuccessfully - having found them, the mysterious ships, even initially stationary, instantly gain speed and disappear both from the visibility zone and from the radars. There are many such cases.
On the night of November 7, 1950, an American pilot discovered an unidentified aircraft and tried to land on its tail. But the UFO, obviously noticing his actions, in response headed for a rendezvous and flew over the plane at an altitude of 50 meters. In this case, the object did not make a U-turn. The pilot made several repeated attempts to approach, but each time the UFO abruptly changed its flight path. As a result, recognizing the failure of the actions, the pilot stopped pursuing.
In July 1954, an unknown object approached an aircraft making a flight from New York to London, which followed the same route for several kilometers. Witnesses claim that small spheres moved around the UFO. When military aircraft appeared, the object disappeared.
In August 1956, a spherical object was seen near the British military air bases, moving at an altitude of 700 meters at a speed of 5 km / h. A fighter was sent to intercept it, but when the pilot approached and the distance between them was about a kilometer, the UFO made a sharp instant maneuver and ended up on the tail of the aircraft, thus starting its own pursuit. Attempts to break away from him were unsuccessful, and, having consumed most of the fuel, the pilot was forced to return to base.
In 1967, an unidentified disc-shaped object, believed to be made of metal, was seen about 150 meters above a rocket base in North Dakota. He made circular movements over the launchers and gave the impression of a scout. Fighters were sent to capture him, but as soon as they came closer, the UFO, having risen vertically, disappeared from sight.
In October 1978, a UFO played catch-up with an American pilot - it moved at a low speed, allowing itself to catch up, after which it picked up speed and pulled ahead, then slowing down again.
In 1990, in October, in the vicinity of Grozny, dispatchers saw an unmarked object on screens at an altitude of about 5 kilometers. The fighter returning from the mission at this time was ordered to proceed towards the object and identify it.

However, in the right place, the pilot could only observe cloudless weather and the complete absence of foreign aircraft. Having reported this information, the pilot began to return to the base, but soon noticed the pursuers, at a distance of about 15 kilometers - two cigar-shaped ships. According to rough estimates, their sizes are about 400 and 2000 meters. When they approached, they immediately disappeared.
