First, a little history. The word "demon" comes from the Greek term "daimon", that is, "divine power, fate." It is believed that many of them appeared after they imagined themselves equal to the Creator.
In psychology, demons are the embodiment of the latent psychic power of the subconscious, the dark corners of our soul. They are a symbol of the shadow, without which the light cannot be cognized; sin without which there can be no redemption.
The classification of demons is as old as the world. Christian specialists in demonology of the XVI-XVII centuries united demons according to their hierarchy in hell, assigning them various duties. There are demons who, like angels, act at night, or evil spirits that cause disease. Some demons have their own seals, bestowed upon them by the Supreme Villain. Astaroth
A demon with masculine properties, but weakly manifesting its masculine nature. People usually appear in the form of an angel.
