New victims of sleeping sickness! Residents of the famous village of Kalachi in Kazakhstan reported that people began to fall asleep again. The patients were immediately taken away by an ambulance.
Eight patients, according to the villagers, were first taken to intensive care. They arrived there four days ago. Almost all patients have a relapse. However, the regional health authorities do not confirm the information. According to them, there were indeed six sleepy residents of Kalach in the regional hospital, but a week ago they were all discharged.
Apparently, there is a new outbreak of a mysterious disease in the village. For the first time, her cases were recorded in 2011. In total, 50 people were diagnosed with a strange ailment. Experts still cannot determine why people fall asleep on the go. The commission of the Ministry of Health, which worked in the village this spring, did not give a clear answer. While the disease is called an encephalopathy of unknown etymology.
