In recent years, it has become very popular among the special services of the states of the world to distribute sensational archival materials. Usually, these materials contain information about UFO sightings. Several years ago, the general public had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the materials of ufological content, the records of which date back to the period from 1954 to 2009. These so-called cases were drawn up by the military from New Zealand. As noted, the size of the unzipped files is about 2 thousand pages.

The archives contain testimony from both the ordinary civilian population and the military, including fighter pilots and officials.

The incident that took place in 1978 in the city of Kaikura received the greatest interest. The pilot of one of the airplanes, which is engaged in mail transport, saw several lights that were located in the shape of an ellipse. The pilot immediately informed the controllers on the ground about the object and headed for it. The light disappeared for a few minutes, but later became visible again.

The official documents mentioned an alleged natural phenomenon. But the military insisted that it was just a normal optical effect. Even then-Prime Minister of New Zealand Robert Muldoon expressed interest in the incident.

Under New Zealand's free speech and publicity laws, all documents relating to the incident were released to the public, but excluding any official names. At the moment we are talking only about copies of documents. The originals of the case are still kept in the archives of the special services.

BBC New Zealand, represented by Kavey Tamaraki, said that the archive contains simply collected information regarding UFO manifestations from various sources. No investigations into these cases were carried out and are not being carried out because the military did not have such resources.

Although the manifestation of UFO activity near airfield facilities, the fact is, so to speak, indisputable. For example, near the city of Gilbert, from May 2000 to August 2001, a large number of witnesses observed bright lights in the sky. This phenomenon went down in history under the name "Bubba". Numerous video materials prove it.

Tom King (one of the many UFO witnesses) says that this is indeed a rather strange fact. UFOs do most of the time happen in one instance. You can contemplate them only for a few seconds, after which they disappear into the sky. And in the case of this phenomenon, they flew in and then flew back. They returned immediately after evening and to the same place. The impression was that the UFO deliberately wanted to be seen by humans.

According to other witnesses, the UFO fires were bright. And the shape and intensity of the glow changed and fluctuated. There were 27 such contacts, as indicated in the affidavit, 20 of which are documented on videotape.

The worst thing about this story is that the phenomenon appeared every time in the airspace of one of the commercial airports. One of the videotapes shows a well-defined object of light that was heading directly towards one of the planes. However, when it seemed that it would not be possible to avoid a collision, the mysterious object simply disappeared from the pilots' field of vision. Thus, he allowed the aircraft to continue moving unhindered. Bubba then immediately returned to his previous location.

King recorded several more such cases with aircraft. In all cases, the pilots and passengers of the aircraft did not see any objects. But how then to explain the numerous eyewitness accounts of strange flying objects.

As it became known, one of the pilots nevertheless decided to change the route in order to avoid a collision, but he refused to be interviewed by the press. He shared his impressions of what he saw one on one.

One of King's associates tried to get data from radars and dispatcher conversations, but he never got it.

Similar phenomena happened back in the early 90s. Then thousands of people witnessed the glow over the Bay of Breeze in Florida.

In Arizona and Florida, UFOs most often appeared at military bases and facilities where various airborne equipment is being tested. However, some objects remain unidentified.
