At the next, 19th Ural conference dedicated to the death of tourists in the Northern Urals, speakers shared new versions and modified old ones.

The unsolved mystery of the death of nine UPI students on the slope of Mount Kholatchakhl still attracts and excites researchers. The tragedy happened 59 years ago. And it has long ceased to be a personal pain of relatives and friends of tourists who have lost their lives under mysterious circumstances. Now, to join the investigation, it is enough to contact the Dyatlov Foundation and present your version at the annual conference.

At each conference in memory of the Dyatlov group, they again and again analyze versions of what happened, share assumptions and guesses. This time, the headliner was supposed to be a Moscow lawyer, and in the past, criminal prosecutor Leonid Proshkin. But this speaker could not come to Yekaterinburg. But he sent a message: “The circumstances of the death of nine tourists must be established. Additional consequence is the only way."

And although Proshkin was not there, there were enough speakers at the conference. And according to tradition, their versions were different. From traditional to conspiracy theories.

For example, a researcher Yuri Yakimov specially arrived from Severourask with his story. He talked about how he joined the investigation into the death of Dyatlovites, having watched a film about this tragedy 12 years ago. Yuri Yakimov shared a sensation:

- In 2002 I worked as a mining foreman in the Ivdel region. We mined bauxite. Once I went down to the quarry on business. And I saw in the glow in the sky above the forest. I immediately left the range of this glow, feeling the danger. Even then I realized that this is not a natural phenomenon, but a UFO. After that, in 2006, I watched a film about the Dyatlov Pass. And I had a version of what actually happened there. I am sure that the Dyatlovites saw the same glow in the sky, but did not leave, but began to photograph it. That is, we made contact. For which they paid. At first, people who are investigating the mystery of the deaths of students at the pass were reticent about my version. Skeptical. But now they are treated with understanding.

Indeed, the version according to which the Dyatlovites died after meeting (because of the meeting) with a UFO finds understanding among researchers. Let's just say that she, like everyone else, closes white spots, explains questions based on an assumption. And guesses about the intrigues of aliens are no worse than guesses about the intrigues of the military, "black Mansi" and Bigfoot. They inevitably appear where there are open questions that cannot be answered based on facts alone.

“According to the canonical version, which is in the criminal case on the death of Dyatlovites, the students were killed by an avalanche that descended on their tent during a blizzard,” commented Ural ufologist Alexei Korolev. - But if that were exactly the case! The fact is that this version does not explain the injuries that the tourists received, the strange color of their skin before death, as well as the panic that prevented them from hiding in the forest, returning to the tent or lighting a fire. So the possibility of outside interference, including alien, cannot be ruled out in any way.

A floating sphere from Yekaterinburg surfaced on the federal channel

Experts highly appreciated the original design of the building.

The UFO version would partially explain the blind spots in the history of the death of the Dyatlovites, but many researchers dismiss these assumptions. And they continue to insist on the rational. The cause of the tragedy is entirely natural. This is an accident.

“I set out my version of events in the book“No crime is seen,”which was published in 2016,” said Evgeny Karpuk, a member of the Union of Writers of Russia, who came to the conference from Kurgan. - I used to live in the north and know firsthand what cold is and how a person can freeze. In addition, I do research in archives and enjoy solving historical riddles. I studied a lot of documentary materials. And I came to the conclusion that everything is trivial and simple: the students were simply crippled by an avalanche - they froze during a blizzard.

Search for dead tourists.

The inconsistencies with the traditional version of the death of tourists-skiers, according to which students died due to an avalanche, are explained not only by the UFO interference hypothesis, but also by assumptions on the verge of conspiracy theories. Moreover, they are also logical in their own way and have their adherents among researchers.

- There are many versions of what actually happened. And they are multiplying. But none of them exactly answers the question: it was a murder or an accident, - said the former investigator, and now the lawyer Andriyan Masters, who specially came to the conference from Orenburg. - I read the materials of the criminal case, which are on the Internet, and, based on my experience as an investigator, I can say that an accident was staged. That is, the Komsomol students ended up where they shouldn't have been. And the Dyatlovites had a conflict with another group of people. Perhaps the military. And these people did everything to make unwanted visitors die. Perhaps tourists were running out of the tent at gunpoint. They were specially kicked out without outer clothing, into a blizzard, without giving them the opportunity to go back. And they resigned themselves to their fate. So the death of students on the mountainside, in my opinion, is of a criminal nature.

Now people who are fighting (many just for fun) over the solution to the death of the Dyatlovites have a new point of application of efforts. At the suggestion of the former criminal prosecutor Leonid Proshkin, they intend to ensure that the authorities resume a criminal investigation into the circumstances of what happened on February 2, 1959 on the slope of Mount Kholatchakhl.

Will the authorities reopen the investigation or refuse? One thing is clear: any official answer will be food for further thought and theory building. Because the secret of the Dyatlov Pass has already become a cultural phenomenon. And the solution to the causes of this tragedy is a process for the sake of process. Articles, books, films are being made about this. And soon this story will be published as a "tragedy in pictures." This is how this format, in fact, a comic strip, was called at the last conference in memory of the Dyatlov group.

Now imagine that (suddenly the archives are declassified, for example) there will be a clear and consistent version of what and how the UPI students died in the winter of 1959. The amateur researchers will be furious! After all, people like the secret. Though they join her, endlessly solve this riddle.

So, it is the white spots in the history of the death of tourists-skiers (like the open codes of a program that can be changed according to your own understanding) that touch, cling to many people. And they make the legend of the Dyatlov pass alive.
