7-year-old Briton named Olivia Farnsworth does not feel pain, hunger, and does not feel the need for sleep.
She may not eat anything and sleep for several days. She won't even blink an eye if she cuts herself or falls and hits hard. Most recently, she ran across the road and was knocked down by an unexpectedly turned out car. The girl did not shed a tear - she just got up and went home, as if nothing had happened.
Olivia's unique characteristics puzzled the doctors. They know that her condition is caused by the destruction of chromosome 6, but for the first time in medical history, they meet a patient with three rare symptoms at once.
According to Olivia's mother, Nicky Trepak, her daughter is completely unfamiliar with the sense of danger, since she literally does not feel pain, nor does she feel the need for food and sleep. The doctors have already nicknamed the young patient "bionic girl".
“She was running across the road and she was hit by a car, and she - at least henna, - said Nicky shortly after the incident. - It was creepy. I still cannot recover from this. I saw her fall, screamed, and my other children also screamed in horror. And Olivia got up and looked at us so surprised - they say, what's wrong with you? - and calmly returned to us."
Nicky added that Olivia should have suffered serious injuries after this incident - a wheel mark remained on her chest. However, as it turned out after the examination, she escaped with only skin damage on the toe and on the reed. Doctors believe that Olivia managed to avoid injuries because at the moment of the collision her body was not tense, like ordinary people in such situations. And this is not the first time the girl behaves in an unusual way, having received an injury: “Once she fell very unsuccessfully and broke her lip - so badly that she had to be sewn up later. However, the little girl did not react to this trouble in any way."

Getting Olivia to eat right is also a very difficult challenge, since she never feels hungry. “In each specific period, she agrees to eat one thing. For example, recently it was milkshakes, says Nicky. - Now it's chicken noodles. Once she lived for a whole year only on sandwiches with butter. She is never hungry, so it’s useless for her to say that if you don’t eat this, you will not get something delicious. Food does not bother her at all.
Olivia's third "superpower" is her tirelessness. “Once she didn’t sleep for three days in a row,” Nicky said. “For me, a single mother with five children, it was an ordeal. She never gets tired. We have to give her medicine so that she sleeps a little."
Problems associated with the destruction of the 6th chromosome cannot be treated, explains Dr. Beverly Searle. "All we can do is alleviate individual symptoms."
Despite her peculiarities, Olivia is a happy, cheerful child. Nicky assures that of all five children she is the most tender and loving. “She is ready to share everything she has. Olivia has a wonderful character, although with a certain "crazy", but in a good sense of the word."
