At this very place, the shaman Mutwa began to be perplexed by the fact that over many years of learning the secrets of African shamanism, many years of studying wisdom and knowledge, he was constantly wondering why we, humans, are actually destroying the Earth on which we ourselves live.
African religions are currently split in two. There are those who believe that the dead are Abapansi, that is, "those who are below", "those who are underground." Others talk about Abapezulu - “those who are above”, and believe that Abapansi is the old name for the spirits of the dead, and that they are “those who are underground”.
