In the photo: UFO over Texas Lake Granger (2009), Skeptics claim that the photo is just a Frisbee toy, accidentally caught in the frame. But the woman photographer is sure that no "frisbees" were launched at the moment of the photo.

It is believed that UFO bases can be located on the moon and at the bottom of the seas and oceans, where extraterrestrial objects are reliably hidden from human eyes. But, as ufologists are becoming more and more convinced, the aliens arrange their hangars in some lakes - even though it is easier for people to detect alien aircraft

Now there is no longer any doubt that the alien base was (and possibly is still) at the bottom of Lake Cree in Canada. In the early 1970s, the local population more than once noticed strange objects flying over the lake, many of which were swiftly plunging into its waters. But at such a speed, any terrestrial aircraft would certainly have crashed, unable to withstand the overloads.

According to the American ufologist (our former compatriot) Paul Stonehill, the survey of the lake was undertaken in 1971 after over 50 witnesses reported that a large rectangular object had detached from a very large disc-shaped UFO hovering over the lake and collapsed into water. The depth of the lake in this place was about 45 meters, but the divers could not reach the bottom due to a sudden headache, which became more severe the lower they went. It was decided to send there an automatic apparatus equipped with a television camera. During his dive, a greenish glow appeared at the bottom of the lake, which quickly intensified. And then the cables jerked, as if from below someone grabbed them with a giant hand, and cut them off. The apparatus has gone into the depths forever.

In 1978, a survey of the bottom with an echo sounder recorded two regular oval protrusions. Their origin remained unclear. At the same time, another attempt was made to see the bottom with the help of a TV camera, but this was not successful either: at the very beginning of the descent, all the mechanisms stopped working, as is usually the case in the presence of a UFO.

Weightlessness over Salatina

With a high degree of confidence, we can talk about the existence of a UFO base at the bottom of Lake Gaipo in the Cordillera Azur mountains (Argentina). The number of UFO sightings over this lake and its surroundings is enormous. The Quechua Indians living on the shores of Gaipo are wary of flying objects and hide when they approach. The natives are convinced that these sorcerers and witches took the form of disks and spheres to make it easier to hunt people. Despite all these anomalies, the study of Gaipo, even the most superficial, has not yet been carried out.

There is another lake in Argentina, at the bottom of which, it is believed, has been something mysterious for many years. Rumor persists in associating this "something" with UFOs, although mysterious flying objects appear here not much more often than elsewhere in the world.

“My father told me that a huge disco-visible UFO once plunged into the lake,” says Ramon Casona, the owner of a local restaurant. "And no one saw it come back out, although people have been constantly watching the lake since that day."

The lake is called Salatina. Travelers and locals claim that it is possible to be on it, as it were, in zero gravity and soar above the water a meter or more. This does not always happen. Tourists who only visit the lake for this purpose wait on its shores for weeks until a mysterious anomaly "turns on". Few manage to take off, and only the most patient.

Much more often than ups, inexplicable short-term weight reductions are recorded on Salatin.

“Gravity is only 'turned off' in very small areas and for a short time,” explains physicist Carlos Penas, who has been studying the anomaly for over 10 years. - We cannot say in advance where and when the phenomenon will arise. Sometimes he is gone for weeks. And on April 6 last year at noon, gravity was "turned off" completely three times within five minutes, as a result of which four people took to the air. Unusually, as in weightlessness, the water behaved in these areas. " According to one of the versions, the UFO at the bottom of Salatina from time to time sends signals to someone into space. At such moments, gravity interruptions occur.

Aliens at the bottom of Baikal

In Russia, Baikal attracts special attention of ufologists. UFOs are constantly seen above it, and those objects that are noticed in the vicinity of the lake almost always fly towards it. In 1977, deep-sea research was carried out on Lake Baikal using the Paysis apparatus. Two employees of the Institute of Oceanology of the USSR Academy of Sciences - V. M. Alexandrov and G. R. Seliverstov. The device moved slowly along the slope of the underwater ridge. While driving, at a depth of about 1200 meters, the researchers turned off the floodlights to study the depth of penetration of sunlight into the water. However, even after that, scientists continued to observe a rather strong and very unusual glow. “It was like this,” V. Aleksandrov said later, “as if the apparatus was illuminated from above and from the side by two strong searchlights. Only a minute later the unknown spotlights went out,and we found ourselves in complete darkness."

An even more shocking event happened in 1982 with a group of military divers who surveyed the coastal area of the lake. Under water, at a depth of about 40 meters, the military encountered strange unknown swimmers. Outwardly, they looked like people, but out of all the diving equipment, the swimmers were wearing only spherical helmets and tight-fitting wetsuits - this alone caused surprise, since the water in Baikal is icy, and such a suit is not able to protect a person from rapid freezing. But the most important thing is the growth of the swimmers. It was about three meters. Unknown creatures did not pay attention to the divers, who were busy with some of their incomprehensible work.

Immediately after returning, the submariners reported to the command about their strange meeting. Immediately, a special group of seven experienced divers was formed to capture the unknown creatures. Several boats went out to patrol the lake. Their crews were supposed to stop the giants as soon as they surface. The divers took the net with them in case they were resisted.

As in the first time, three-meter swimmers practically did not react to the appearance of people. The reaction followed only when the military tried to throw a net on one of the giants. The giant threw all the fighters with such force that they flew upward with acceleration and ended up on the surface of the lake. The rapid ascent caused decompression sickness in people ("boiling blood" due to a rapid drop in pressure). To save them, special pressure chambers were required. But the military unit had only one such cell, designed for two people. As a result, despite the urgent measures taken, three divers died, and the rest remained disabled for life.

Ice circles and other wonders

Scientists cannot explain the appearance of mysterious circles on the Baikal ice. They reach seven kilometers in diameter and are visible even from space. The circles first appeared in 1999. They do not appear every year and always in different places. There is a version that these are traces of huge gas bubbles rising from bottom cracks in the earth's crust. Another version associates the circles with global warming. But ufologists believe

that this is the result of underwater activities of aliens, who may be interested in the clear water of the lake.

There is little doubt that in the 1960s and early 1970s the UFO base was located at the bottom of Lake Sarez (Tajikistan). Flying objects were seen here so often that an observation point for them was set up on a nearby mountain. Lake Sarez, one and a half kilometers deep, was formed at the beginning of the 20th century as a result of a series of powerful earthquakes. It is believed that at its bottom there are holes that lead deep into the bowels of the planet. In the fall of 1972, UFOs of various shapes sank into the lake almost every day. Perhaps because of this, at that time its water was warmer than in the neighboring lakes.

At present, it is assumed that a UFO base exists at the bottom of Lake Cheremenetskoye (Leningrad Region), to which mysterious objects have been arriving and hovering over it endlessly since the late 1990s. Similar UFOs are showing increased interest in Lake Erie on the US-Canadian border.
