From ancient Egypt came the main secret and occult teachings that have had a strong influence on the philosophy of all races, nations and peoples for many thousands of years. Egypt - the land of pyramids and sphinxes - was the birthplace of hidden wisdom and mystical teachings. All nations borrowed their knowledge from his secret teachings - India, Persia, Chaldea and Media, China, Japan, Assyria, Ancient Greece, Rome and other ancient countries freely shared the Feast of Knowledge, which the Hierophants and Masters of the land of Isis so freely provided to those who came prepared to participate in the Great Abundance of Mysticism and Occult Knowledge, which the wisest of the ancient land brought together.
In Ancient Egypt there were Great Adepts and Masters who were never surpassed, with whom were rarely compared during the centuries that have flown by since the time of the Great Hermes. But among these great Masters of Ancient Egypt once lived one of those whose name was Master of Masters. This man (if he really was a man) lived in Egypt in ancient days. He was known as Hermes Trismegistus. He was the father of Occult Wisdom, the founder of Astrology, the discoverer of Alchemy. Details of the history of his life are lost to history over time, although many ancient countries argued with each other in their efforts to appropriate the honor of being his homeland - this is thousands of years ago.
Even his temporary stay in Egypt during that last descent (incarnation) on this planet is now unknown, but it was noted in the early days of the most ancient dynasties of Egypt, long before the days of Moses. The most competent authorities regard him as a contemporary of Abraham, and some of the Jewish traditions go even further, claiming that Abraham received some of his mystical knowledge from Hermes himself. As the years of his departure from this plan of life passed (tradition claims that he lived 300 years in the flesh), the Egyptians deified Hermes and elevated him to the pantheon of their Gods under the name of Thoth. Years later, the people of Ancient Greece also made him one of their many Gods, calling him Hermes, the God of Wisdom.
The Egyptians honored his memory for many centuries - tens of centuries - calling him the Singer of the Gods, called him the ancient title Thrice Great, Great of the Great, Greatest of the Greatest, etc. In all ancient lands, the name of Hermes was revered, his name became synonymous with the Source of Wisdom …
Even today we use the term hermetic in the sense of secret, secret, closed so that nothing can come out, etc. This is due to the fact that the followers of Hermes have always observed the principle of being able to keep their teachings secret. They did not believe in such beads in front of pigs, they rather adhered to the principle of milk for babies, meat for strong men.
