At the end of the 19th, beginning of the 20th century, exhibitions of the achievements of the national economy were held in the United States, and at first glance there was nothing unusual about them. But at a second glance, these exhibitions are full of inconsistencies and very mysterious. San Francisco - 1915, Chicago - 1893, Seattle - 1906, etc.

Temporary pavilions were being built, too luxurious for temporary halls. They were built in just 2 years and were soon destroyed. Construction time is very short.

For example, the temporary pavilion of the Chicago Exposition:

Not only do they not look temporary, especially for that period of time, the incredible speed of construction is also confusing here and why then destroy.

On May 1, 1983, the Columbia World's Fair opened in Chicago, which was attended by 27 million people, in the United States at that time there were 65 million people. It turns out that half of the country's population has arrived. And it could not have been tourists from Europe, since transport companies could transport a maximum of 500 thousand people per year. Judging by the photographs from the exhibition, in which the able-bodied population, no children and no old people, abandoned their business and came to have fun, and this is every second resident, and there is a crisis in the country. And still there had to be both children and old people.

On May 10, 1876, an exhibition in Philadelphia was attended by 10 million people, and that year the population of the country was 45 million, which means that every 4th person came to it.

In less than 2 years, 200 temporary exhibition buildings were built. The main building is 9 hectares. It was built in 18 months.

  • Machine room 400 meters, showcase of 19th century technology.
  • Art gallery building. This building has been preserved.

  • Agricultural hall.
  • Women's pavilion.

The Philadelphia Exposition was completed in less than two years, with most of the buildings as temporary.

There was a Russian hall at the exhibition, halls of different peoples of the world.

Another interesting question is that in addition to building pavilions, there must be infrastructure. After all, people have come in large numbers, they need to live somewhere and have something to eat. We need water supply, sewerage, and also organize food.

A huge exhibition that told everyone and everything about the world around us.

Such large-scale exhibitions are more like an educational project than an entertaining one, which forms the “correct” outlook of a person. Even an exhibition ticket doesn't look like an entertainment ticket. The ticket shows: size, height, eyes, hair. Which is very strange in general.

It is surprising that people do not have objects in their hands, such as handbags. And they are all dressed the same, like in uniform.

The number of people suggests that this may be due to fires in the United States in the 19th century, there were 101 fires.

There are several oddities in these fires, how the ruins look, that is, they do not look like the remains of wooden buildings with thatched roofs, how the official story tells about it, and what the people who walk there look like.

People are not at all like the affected residents of these cities. No confusion and grief. There are very few women and very many middle-aged men. There are no children or old people at all.

Perhaps the exhibitions were to create a "new reality". In the photo, all are clean, white collars, black ironed suits, all in bowlers almost identical, shiny shoes. If the bulk of the buildings suddenly burns down in the city, the entire infrastructure is covered, who will polish their shoes.
