Crowds of Malaysian pilgrims came to the walls of the hospital to pray to the image of the Virgin Mary that suddenly appeared on the glass.

More than a hundred Catholics gathered outside the walls of Sime Darby Hospital in Kuala Lumpur to conduct a vigil prayer for what they believe to be a vision of the Virgin Mary that appeared "miraculously" on one of the building's windows.

Groups of people who are convinced that the mysterious sign on the seventh floor of the hospital window is a revered icon depicting the mother of Jesus Christ say they saw a second mysterious imprint of her son on the second floor of the hotel.

Father Lawrence Andrew, editor of the Malaysian Catholic Bulletin The Herald, said the church should investigate and verify the images and interview witnesses. Eunice Fernandez, who lives nearby, commented on what he saw:

We believe that Mary, Mother of God, has a message for us as she looks down on us. We can also see Jesus and he is also moving, they are not static.

All the pilgrims gathered for prayer in the hospital flatly deny the possible mystification of the images and fervently believe that the face of the Virgin Mary is "a sign from above." At the moment, the hospital itself has not commented on the "miraculous" phenomenon.
