It is generally accepted that ghosts like to appear in cemeteries at night and in abandoned buildings - sometimes in front of a group of people, but more often in front of individual individuals. Therefore, what happened recently in Malaysia will seem to many of us simply amazing and beyond any idea of supernatural forces.

In the city of Pengkalan-Chepa, which is located in the north of this Asian state, a school was closed a few days ago. The reason for this was not an outbreak of flu or the danger of a terrorist attack, but a real ghost, which began to literally harass students and teachers. For a month, children and adults watched a tall and dark human silhouette in the hall, corridors, dining room, offices and even toilets of the institution, periodically emitting heartbreaking screams. One of the students even managed to photograph a guest from the other world, peeping out from behind a column in the lobby of the educational institution.

Mass hysteria or is it a real ghost?

Malaysian journalists call the incident mass hysteria, although they are in no hurry to claim that there are no phantoms at the school. The fact is that many residents of the country unconditionally believe in ghosts and an afterlife. The Malaysians believed in all this for many centuries - the local folklore consists of almost half of legends, myths and beliefs concerning the dead walking on the Earth. It is believed that the restless spirit of a person who died a terrible violent death settled in the educational institution, and the ghost, angry with the living, will not leave the building until he is chased away through a special magic ritual that only a powerful sorcerer can perform.

The head of the City Hawa Mat school claims that he himself is ready to believe in the existence of the notorious phantom. According to the director, about two weeks ago he was working in his office in the evening after classes and suddenly heard a terrible inhuman scream outside. The Malaysian instinctively rushed to the door, flung it open abruptly, but the long corridor was completely empty.

They decided to expel the ghost from school

Over the past month, at least fifty students and seven teachers have reported seeing or hearing this whole damn thing at school. When many parents stopped letting their offspring go to class, fearing that the ghost might harm the children, the city's educational administration sounded the alarm. The teachers insisted that the school be closed before the unwanted guest was expelled.

So in the end they did it. At the moment, one thousand forty-four students are enjoying an unexpected vacation, and eighty-four teachers are on paid leave.

The educational administration of Pengkalan-Chep has already begun to search for a person who can rid the school building of the presence of a restless spirit. Due to the fact that the state religion in Malaysia is Islam, it can be assumed that an experienced Islamic cleric will be invited for this work.
