In the life of the Vinnitsa artist Vladimir Kozyuk, there have been many interesting accidents, inexplicable, and sometimes mystical stories. They began in childhood. But one of the most incredible cases happened in his youth.

Sleep threat

After serving in the army, Vladimir was in excellent physical shape: he was engaged in martial arts and even taught them in gyms. According to him, the feeling of fear was then unknown to him. Until one day he came to visit his parents in the village. There he had, as it turned out later, a prophetic dream.

“I dream that I am going out into the corridor,” Vladimir recalls. - And it has such dim lighting. Some boxes, I smell rot. At the end of the corridor I saw him - unclean. And he says to me: “You have money, power, why then are you not with me? You must be with me. "I say:" No, no way! " And he: “Well, then I’ll just tear you apart.” I start to run away. And at the same time I feel such fear as never before in my life. It fetters my whole body. It’s like I’m falling into my children's room. A blanket with my head. And then from under the bed a hand hits me in the chest. I was in great pain. But then a light force comes out of the wall and cuts off this hand. I woke up in a cold sweat and could not sleep for a long time."

The next day in the evening Vladimir went to visit his old friends. He was just showing some kind of trick on the cards when a friend's stepson, playing with a gun, shot him right in the chest. Accident. None of the adults noticed how the child took the gun that was in the corner.

“He shot me literally from two meters,” says Vladimir. - I didn't understand what happened, I was stunned. And then I look, there is blood on the wall. I didn't immediately understand that it was mine. Then he felt that his left arm was numb. I look, and where the heart, torn out, with a fist, is a hole. Tissue pulsates, and blood gushes like a fountain. Well, I guess that's all. But somehow trite."

The injury was due to the contraction of the heart. As the doctors later said, they did not believe that he would live. But Vladimir survived. But I had to forget about training, lessons and business. For 9 months of treatment, he lost his shape. And the business of selling audio equipment collapsed, since there was no one to control it. Vladimir became bankrupt.

“I was not discouraged,” she recalls. - After all, he remained alive, and this is the main thing. I had a talent for drawing, and I began to develop them. I decided that I would live like everyone else and never become disabled."

Miracles with icons

During this difficult period, Vladimir met his future wife Lyudmila. They decided to get married. Vladimir wanted to be crowned with old, pre-revolutionary icons, and began to look for such. Once I bought a silver icon of the Mother of God from a friend.

“She lay with me for almost a year,” says Vladimir. - And then another person offered me to buy an icon of the Savior. I looked and thought that it was the same size as the previous one and agreed. At home he took out an icon of the Mother of God. I see they are almost the same. I began to study them from the inside, and there - the name of one master and one number. It really was a couple of wedding icons. And the fact that they came together after so many years is truly a miracle of God."

This determined the artist's new hobby - he began collecting icons. A few years later, Vladimir decided to make the first exhibition of icons in Vinnitsa. He already had an impressive collection. But right before the opening at night, a wall in the local history museum collapsed completely. The exhibition was postponed. And then the newborn son Vladimir developed health problems. The exhibition was postponed again. It was possible to open it only a year later.

Thatched huts

Several years ago, Vladimir began to dream of village houses under thatched roofs. This determined the further hobby. After such dreams, he even got up and drew what he saw from memory.

“Once I dreamed of such a hut in Vinnitsa. I woke up, immediately drew it, - says the artist. - And I understand it seems that this cannot be in the city, somehow illogical. But I saw! And so I walk along Kievskaya Street, I see: there is a hut under the straw. It turned out she was covered with tar paper. The wind tore it off and exposed the straw. And she stood exactly in the place where I dreamed."

After that, Vladimir began to travel around the region, looking for similar houses and taking pictures. Now the artist lives a full life, as he promised himself after a miraculous healing after a shot in the heart, and is grateful to the divine providence, which took death away from him.
