The universe, contrary to popular opinion in the scientific world, does not rotate on its axis, said the staff of the University of London, who confirm their conclusions with the results of a whole series of astronomical studies.
“All the objects around us move in one way or another. Planets, stars, as well as their clusters in the form of galaxies - everything rotates on its axis, and even flies somewhere at the same time. However, the Universe, which is formed by all objects existing in space, does not rotate around its axis,”the astronomers say.
Scientists have created a model of the microwave background generated by the Big Bang, the phenomenon that once caused the universe to appear. After analyzing the computer model, the researchers found no signs of the rotation of the universe.
The data for scientific work were obtained using several spacecraft that continuously analyze cosmic background radiation. In which, according to experts, there are many echoes of the Big Bang that can tell about the first stages of the existence of the world.
“We do not know if this is good or bad, but it is a fact - the Universe is immovable. That is, it does not rotate around its axis,”the researchers conclude.
