One of the regions of Western Siberia, where researchers are shocked by the remains of megalithic structures made of giant stone blocks, is Gornaya Shoria - a mountain-taiga region in the southern part of the Kemerovo region at the junction of Altai and Sayan. At an altitude of more than a thousand meters, there are the ancient ruins of a lost civilization - a cyclopean structure made of vertically set boulders, standing on a giant foundation.
The megalithic polygonal masonry of the stone wall at the top of the mountain is striking in its mass and size, the base consists of granite blocks up to 20 meters long, up to 6 meters high, the weight of which can reach more than a hundred tons. Walls intersect at right angles. The blocks are fitted to each other without any solution, a knife cannot be inserted between the blocks, in some places the edges are so even and sharp that there is no doubt about their processing with a grinding tool.

On the stones there are many round holes up to 7 cm in diameter and small strips of 30 cm each, perhaps these are traces of a drill and cutter. Some blocks have traces of fusion, which allowed geologists to put forward a version of a thermonuclear explosion that destroyed the cyclopean structure. It remains a mystery how the ancient Slavs raised giant boulders to a great height, where the quarries were located, what technologies were used to move and process basalt blocks, what was the purpose of these structures and how old they were?
Researchers believe that the destruction of Gornaya Shoria was the result of not only a powerful thermonuclear explosion, but also very high temperatures that caused the melting of huge, hundreds of tons of basalt blocks, which seemed to "melt and flow". This suggests that the ancient civilization was armed with technologies that are not yet available to us.
There is no doubt that thousands of years ago great civilizations lived and created on Earth, the level of which we have not reached today. Technologies for processing stone, moving huge objects and constructing colossal megalithic structures were far superior to modern ones. Comparing the megalithic polygonal masonry of structures in Egypt, South America, Baalbek, Siberia, one can come to the conclusion that the ancient highly technologically advanced civilizations possessed the same technologies.
