In the Black Sea, you can find many such inhabitants, who seem to have descended from the pages of A. S. Pushkin. By the way, according to one of the versions of modern researchers of the great poet's work, the real Lukomorye is located exactly on the Black Sea coast. Sea heroes have now been added to the traditional mermaids and the already familiar huge sea snakes.
Mysterious swimmers
Probably, the first to see these giants was a diesel operator from the Cape Aya recreation center, Vasily N. In the summer of 1997, he was fishing on the seashore, not far from a sunken ship. Tearing off his gaze from the float gently swaying on the waves, the fisherman suddenly saw two giants with huge heads about ten meters from the shore! In the brain of Vasily Ivanovich, a well-read man who is interested in the history of ancient civilizations and mythology. flared up: "Yes, these are real Atlanteans!" The creatures really resembled the mythological Atlanteans: despite their huge growth (more than three meters), they moved smoothly and gracefully. Since all this was happening not far from the coast, the diesel operator managed to examine the mysterious strangers in some detail. He was especially struck by their eyes - bright blue. noticeably convex, much more human. They sailed slowly along the coast, skirting the rocks, towards Cape Aya.
New meetings
In July 2000, the Atlanteans were seen by Muscovites vacationing on the Black Sea coast. A married couple with children sunbathed on the shore in the Batiliman tract. Suddenly they saw in the water, three hundred meters from the shore, something unusual. Taking the binoculars, the head of the family clearly saw how a man over three meters tall was playing with a huge snake. The man and the serpent swam side by side, from time to time overtaking each other. Amazed people watched these strange creatures for fifteen minutes. Then the serpent swam behind the horizon, and a gigantic man with a large head quickly swam along the coast towards Cape Aya.
In the summer of 2000, scuba diver Aleksey S. swam near the steep cliffs of Cape Aya. At a depth of twenty meters, he "hovered" at the entrance to one of the underwater caves. Suddenly, ten meters away from him, he saw two three-meter and one two-meter "Atlantes". They swam quickly into the depths of the cave. They were not wearing diving equipment or wetsuits. Frightened, Alexei floated to the surface.

In June 2001, after a severe storm, Vladislav Andreyevich Goldobin, a mechanic at the Cape Aya recreation center, discovered something that attracted his attention. Taking binoculars, he contemplated the raging sea from the window of his workshop. Suddenly, fifty meters from the shore, he saw a ten-meter brown body, very similar to a snake. The serpent swam towards Cape Aya.
In the same summer, near the same Cape Aya, Igor Mozzhukhin, President of the Center for Russian-Greek Studies, saw another "Atlanta".
A ghost town at the bottom of the sea
Why are "Atlantes" met most often in one place - near Cape Aya? Maybe they have a settlement there? Why not? In the summer of 2002, three Ukrainian scuba divers managed to find an underwater civilization at the bottom of the Black Sea, near Odessa! Every morning these three went scuba diving in the bay, at the bottom of which there were many archaeological finds …
When examining the seabed, scuba divers discovered a mysterious huge depression in the form of a funnel, on the edge of which a rock, shaped like a cube, rose. It was all covered with shells and algae. The funnel seemed very interesting to the guys. But with their exploration, scuba divers decided to postpone and return to it at noon to explore in full light. They actually found themselves near the square rock again at about twelve o'clock in the afternoon. When the sun's rays illuminated the bottom of the funnel, amateur divers descended into it and tried to pick out several shells there.
Suddenly, in the brain of each of them, almost simultaneously, it sounded distinctly: "Don't!" And at the same moment, at the site of the funnel under the water column, the friends saw some buildings resembling ancient Greek structures with columns. The strangest thing is that they did not turn into ruins: the walls, columns, stairs looked intact!
And then the guys saw two unusual people standing near one of the buildings. One of them was driving along the slabs that paved the street with some kind of round object. The strangers were not wearing any special suits or scuba gear. And they didn't look like ordinary people either. In a panic, the scuba divers rushed to the top, they had no time to explore the ancient disappearing and reappearing city.
The hunt did not take place
But not only in the Ukrainian part of the Black Sea one can meet “Atlanteans, or, better to say, Black Sea miracle heroes. They are also found near the Taman "Lukomorye". It was here that a meeting with the "sea people" of the resident of Riga, Gennady Borovkov, took place. Here's what he said:
- Since my youth, I have been fond of spearfishing in the Black Sea. Every summer, at least for a couple of weeks, I came to Gurzuf or Anapa. But one day an incident happened after which I parted with my hobby. It happened in Anapa. Once I plunged seven to eight meters and hid in anticipation of prey. And suddenly - numb! From the greenish depths, four huge creatures floated directly towards me. They are completely white, with human faces, without masks and scuba gear, with large fish tails. The creature floating ahead of the other three saw me, stopped, stared with huge bulging eyes. The others swam up to him. And then the first one pointed at me with his hand! Yes, not with a fin, but with a hand, albeit with membranes between the fingers, in my direction! Now all four began to look at me, keeping, however, at a safe distance.
And suddenly, as if on command, the strange creatures quickly swam back into the open sea, wiggling only their mighty tails. When they disappeared, I flew out of the water like a cork, got into the motorboat and rushed to the shore, never to return here.
For skeptics, Borovkov does not tire of repeating that it could not have been dolphins.
But who then? Probably, this question has yet to be answered by those who, by their duty, are engaged in the study of the flora and fauna of the World Ocean.
