Verkhnyaya Salda, Sverdlovsk region, - Residents of the small Ural town of Verkhnyaya Salda are agitated by a real UFO invasion. Dmitry Volobuev, director of the URAN monitoring station of the Ural anomalies, told Novy Region that the local hang glider Evgeny Mamin got closest to the mysterious objects. In the evening, he flew around the neighborhood on his hang-glider and saw some kind of glowing ball of bright yellow color. It had a smooth outline. There was no propeller or motor noise. Mamin rose to a height of one hundred meters. The subject was at the level of his motoplane and moved smoothly, slowly.
At the same time - at about 23.00 local resident Svetlana Berezkina walked along the street with her daughter - returning home from the guests. They both describe the UFO as a "little yellow ball" that moved slowly. It was felt that the object was flying low, at the level of the clouds. The ball did not illuminate the dark sky, but it itself glowed. There was no sound or hum, as from aircraft, there was complete silence.
In addition, residents of the village of Neloba, which is located near Verkhnyaya Salda, in photographs taken at the same time, later saw a yellow spot against the background of a cloudless blue sky. The object was located just above the heads of the posing.
Dmitry Volobuev was invited to investigate the incident in Salda. He was not only provided with photographs of the UFO, but also a video recorded on a mobile phone.
“After watching a video of a UFO filmed on a mobile phone, and reviving in my memory the cases of observations of similar objects by eyewitnesses, the first thing I asked was:“Did anyone happen to have a wedding that day?” To which they answered me unequivocally: “I was! We have these weddings every Saturday. My guess about the nature of UFOs was thus immediately confirmed: it turned out that the newlyweds launched a ball with a candle late in the evening - similar ones were observed more than once over Yekaterinburg. Citizens often mistake them for UFOs,”Volobuev disappointed Saldintsy.
The study of the photograph from Neloba has not yet been completed: “At the moment, the specialists of the URAN station are conducting a thorough examination of the photograph in order to make an objective conclusion about the UFO captured on it. We will be able to deliver a final verdict only in a few days. But something can already be said now: this object looks suspiciously like a bug or a bumblebee flying close to the lens and reflecting the light from the flash. The elongated body even has wings. Since this large insect was moving quickly, the photographer did not notice it at the time of photographing, the ufologist suggests.
