As a result of an unusual disease that the world's leading doctors did not know how to treat, the 52-year-old woman in the Netherlands saw dragons everywhere. Throughout her life, the woman looked at people, and instead saw fantastic reptiles with long teeth and pointed ears, Metro reports.
“She could recognize people's faces, but within a few minutes after communicating with them, the faces of the interlocutors in the woman's eyes changed shape and color. They turned green and began to acquire reptilian features,”said a psychiatrist from The Hague who worked with the patient.
“Dragons were everywhere in her mind. They were on a computer monitor, on a TV screen, on walls, on ceilings,”the scientist added.
Doctors diagnosed the patient with a rare mental disorder. At the same time, all analyzes showed that the Dutch citizen is completely healthy. After a long treatment, it was possible to relieve the patient of hallucinations with the help of a drug called rivastigmine.
