DNA research has shown that Bigfoot exists and is a hybrid of humans and unknown primates. Study leader, US geneticist Dr. Melba Ketchum (Melba Ketchum) announced the sensational results.

A five-year study of the genome reveals evidence of a hybrid species between Homo sapiens and a great primate of an unknown species in North America.

The team of scientists can confirm that their five-year DNA study, which is currently peer-reviewed, confirms the existence of a new (unknown) hominid hybrid living in North America, commonly referred to as "forest man" (Sasquatch) or "bigfoot".

Extensive DNA sequencing by researchers suggests that the legendary forest man is a human-related species that arose approximately 15,000 years ago as the result of a cross between a modern homosapiens with an unknown primate. The study was conducted by a team of experts in genetics, forensics, process imaging and pathology, led by Dr. Melba S. Ketchum of Nacogdoche, Texas.

In response to the ongoing interest in this study, Dr. Ketchum can confirm that her team has sequenced three complete nuclear Bigfoot genomes and, based on this, were able to determine that this is a human hybrid.

“Our study sequenced a total of 20 mitochondrial genomes and used next generation sequenzing to generate three complete nuclear genomes from the putative Bigfoot samples. This genome sequencing reveals that Bigfoot's mitochondrial DNA is identical to that of modern Homo sapiens, but Bigfoot's nuclear DNA is new, belongs to an unknown hominid and is related to Homo sapiens and other primate species.

Our data suggests that the North American Bigfoot is a hybrid of species resulting from a cross between a male specimen of an unknown species and a female homo sapiens.”

Hominids are members of the taxonomic group hominini, to which all members of the genus homo belong.

The genetic tests carried out exclude that this is a cross with Neanderthals (homo neanderthalis) and Denisov's people.

“The male ancestor who introduced unknown sequences into this hybrid is unique, since its DNA is farther from humans than other recently discovered species, such as Denisov's humans,” Ketchum said. “The DNA of the forest man is completely 'new', and not at all what we expected. The genome contains human nuclear DNA, however, there are definitely sequences that do not belong to humans, archaic hominids, or great apes. Further research is needed and is currently underway to better characterize and understand Bigfoot's nuclear DNA.”

A veterinarian with 27 years of experience in genetics and forensics, Ketchum worked as a veterinarian and prior to this study had published articles on horse genome sequencing in which she was involved. She began her work on DNA analysis of alleged Bigfoot hair samples five years ago.

According to the results of his research, Ketchum is demanding immediate recognition of Bigfoot as an indigenous people by the authorities. “Genetically, Bigfoot is a human hybrid with a distinctly modern human maternal ancestor. Governmental institutions at all levels must now recognize them as an indigenous people and thus immediately protect their human and constitutional rights from those who see their physical and cultural differences as a “license” to hunt or even kill them."

Full information about the research will be presented in the near future in the publication of the manuscript (in a special journal).
