When did Hitler die?

At first glance, the answer is obvious: Adolf Hitler and his wife, Eva Braun, committed suicide on April 30, 1945 at 15:30 in Berlin, in an underground bunker. This version was confirmed by the close circle of the Fuhrer, and the results of the identification and examination of his exhumed body. But there is another version: the Fuhrer did not commit suicide, but together with Eva Braun and his associates fled from besieged Berlin to South America where he died in 1964 at the age of 75. And this version is supported by documents and a number of evidence.

First not docking

American writer and historian William Shearer, in his seminal study, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, published in 1960, argued that the corpses or bones of the Führer and Eva Braun were never found because they were destroyed by Russian shells.

And almost half a century later, the historian and documentary writer Abel Basti from Argentina began to investigate the true fate of Hitler, Eva Braun and the entire top Nazi leadership. He writes about the results of his research in the book "Hitler in Argentina" published in 2006.

The grounds for the author's conclusions are based on a variety of documents and testimonies of witnesses, he claims: the suicide and then the burning of the bodies of Hitler and Eva Braun were falsified. The Fuhrer and Brown were able to hide in South America and lived there until old age.

Facts and eyewitness accounts

What are these documents and testimonies? For example, aeronautical engineer Hans Bauer tells; On April 30, 1945 at 16:30 (that is, an hour after the so-called suicide), he saw Hitler, in a light gray suit, in the center of Berlin near the Junkers-52 aircraft.

Another document testifies that on April 25, a secret meeting was held in the bunker on the evacuation of the Fuhrer, in which the famous test pilot Hanna Reitsch, ace pilot Hans-Ulrich Rudel and Adolf Hitler's personal pilot Hans Bauer took part. The code name for Hitler's secret evacuation plan was Operation Seraglio.

And five days earlier, on April 20, they approved the list of passengers who were supposed to fly from Berlin to Barcelona. Hitler was first on the list, but Goebbels, his wife and children were struck off the list.

So the Fuhrer and, as you can see, the entire "payroll" on April 30, 1945 flew from Berlin to Spain, and from there Hitler, Eva Braun and their numerous retinue with guards arrived in Argentina at the end of the summer on three submarines, which later, for conspiracy purposes, flooded.

The reality of this underwater campaign was confirmed by the fact that off the coast of Argentina, at a depth of about 30 meters, divers discovered large objects covered with silt. The same objects can be seen in the photographs taken by the Americans from space.

The fact that these are precisely the submarines of the fascists is stated in the testimony of eyewitnesses who observed in the summer of 1945 the arrival of three submarines with a swastika in the Caleta de los Loros bay, located in the Argentine province of Rio Negro.

In the archives of the FBI of America there is a report from an American agent in Argentina - a gardener of wealthy German colonists, a married couple Eichhorn from the village of La Falda. The agent said that since June the owners have been busy preparing the estate for the arrival of the Fuhrer, which should take place in the very near future.

There is a letter from the German general Seydlitz, dated 1956, in which he announced that he would be present in Argentina at a meeting between Hitler and the "Fuhrer" of the Croatian Ustasha nationalists, Ante Pavelic.

A poorly played performance?

Regarding the testimony of people who allegedly took part in the burial of Hitler's corpse, as it turned out, there is not a single witness who would have seen with his own eyes how Hitler took poison and shot himself in the head. Most likely, the legend of Hitler's suicide from beginning to end was invented by his inner circle to confuse everyone.

And if you carefully examine the archival documents, then in the testimony of "eyewitnesses" of the death of the head of the Third Reich, you will find a number of non-connections. First it says - he took poison. Then - no, he shot himself in the temple. Then - excuse me, at first I got poisoned, and then pulled the trigger. Potassium cyanide leads to convulsions and instant death: how, after taking the poison, could a person also shoot himself?

All eyewitnesses to the secret of Hitler's death are confused in their testimony. For example, the SS man Heinz Linge claimed that the Führer shot at the left temple with a Walther pistol and blew off half of his head, while another SS officer Otto Günsche (who carried Hitler's body) testified that: “Hitler shot in the right temple, but the face did not suffer at all. After 10 years, for some reason, he changed his testimony - and the Fuhrer had already shot at them in the left temple.

1950 - Günsche recalled: when he entered the room, the corpses were nearby on the sofa. A decade later, he changed his mind and began to claim that they were lying at different ends of the sofa.

But the most curious thing is that a Soviet physician, Lieutenant Colonel Shkaravsky, who took part in the autopsy of the bodies, said that there were no traces of bullet wounds anywhere on them, only the remains of ampoules with cyanide in the teeth.

From all this we can conclude: the Nazis themselves never saw the dead Fuhrer, and hence all these discrepancies in the picture of his death. They were ordered in advance to categorically assert that Hitler was dead, but they did not learn their roles.

Stalin and Zhukov also doubted

There is nothing surprising in the fact that reading the nonsense of such "witnesses", Stalin did not believe in the death of the Fuhrer. It is known that Soviet intelligence officers were looking for Hitler in several countries of South America at once, which was confirmed by the declassified archival documentation of the KGB.

1945, June 9 - at a press conference for foreign journalists, Marshal Zhukov said that Hitler and Eva Braun had secretly flew to Hamburg by plane, and from there they sailed on a submarine.

There are also three shorthand recordings of Stalin's conversations (one of which is with the American Secretary of State Byrnes) in which Stalin frankly said that Hitler had managed to escape.

Hitler was "covered" by a double?

After the officially announced date of his death, the Fuhrer lived in Argentina for another 20 years. This does not fit with the many evidences of Hitler's miserable state in March-April 1945: physically exhausted, having lost the idea of the reality of what is happening, half-blind, taking tranquilizers.

But there is no contradiction here - it must be borne in mind that in the spring of 1945 one of Hitler's doubles appeared before the public, looking older than his years. This man, who copied the Fuhrer, remained in the bunker until the end - there he died as a result.

Living in hospitable Argentina

All eyewitnesses in Argentina describe the appearance of the late Fuhrer as a healthy person, although he can move with some difficulty, relying on a cane - probably a consequence of a shell shock after the 1944 assassination attempt. He was never able to learn Spanish and spoke it rather poorly. He shaved off his famous mustache, and cut his hair short, almost like a beaver, and turned gray.

Arriving in Argentina, Hitler lived for a long time in a hotel owned by the Eichhorn spouses (they were mentioned in the report of the American agent). More than once he visited the luxurious villa of a prominent businessman Jorge Antonio (friend of the country's president Juan Peron) and visited the mountain resort of Bariloche, where his favorite pilot Hans-Ulrich Rudel, SS Hauptsturmführer Erich Priebke and the fanatical doctor from Auschwitz Josef Mengele settled. He especially liked Bariloche, Hitler and Eva Braun lived there for several years in a 2-story wooden mansion.

Eva Braun is worth a special mention. She was born in 1912, she was 23 years younger than Hitler. It is likely that Eva Braun and Hitler in Argentina could have children.

Good luck for the country

In one document from the US FBI archives, which was declassified in 1997 and dated September 21, 1945, an informant reported a willingness to provide evidence that three Argentine ministers had met a Nazi submarine with the Fuehrer on board.

To what has been said, it should be added that Hitler and his henchmen transported huge financial resources to Argentina. Submarines U-235 and U-977 in August 1945 unloaded more than 4 kg of diamonds, tons of gold and platinum in Argentine bays.

A CIA report declassified in 1996 indicates that Argentinean President Juan Perón received $ 7 million from SS-controlled secret Swiss accounts after the collapse of the Third Reich - a price to pay for silence.

Peron's statement on this score is well known; “This is good luck for us. The Germans have invested huge amounts of money in our economy, rebuilt factories and plants, deposited billions of gold in our banks. Isn't this a good deal?"
