Video: Could Global Warming Start A New Ice Age? 2024, May

While the frozen Britain is preparing to freeze all of April, and leading scientists are fanning the information fever around global warming, the Russian astrophysicist assures the public that there will be no summer. The earth is definitely on the cusp of another ice age.

Officially, the British summer was supposed to come two days ago, but millions of freezer-weary Britons yearning for the spring thaw are doomed to endure at least one more winter month.

The cold test will last until May. According to forecasters, the April days will please only with low humidity. The temperature is unlikely to rise above +5 degrees. Meteorologists assure that there has not been such a cold spring for more than two centuries.

And all would be fine, but the combination of frosts with severe snowfalls, which was observed throughout the UK, could be the beginning of a new ice age. The era of ice, according to researchers, will begin next year and will last two hundred years.

Russian scientist, Doctor of Sciences Khabibulla Abdussamatov, employee of the Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory, is convinced that the endless frosts of this year are not an accident, but the natural beginning of the apocalypse, which is a frozen planet. Dr. Abdussamatov believes that the sharp drop in average temperature was predictable and inevitable.

The last time a global cooling, the so-called "Little Ice Age", the Earth experienced between 1650-1850 years, and the lowest temperature of the coldest phase was observed in Europe, North America and Greenland. “All the Dutch canals were frozen, the Greenland glaciers were growing, people were forced to leave the places inhabited by many generations,” says the Russian scientist. - “There were periods when the Thames and Seine were completely frozen and periods when the water temperature in these rivers did not exceed +4 degrees. Humanity flourished during warm periods and experienced periods of cold weather. The climate is something that has never been and will never be stable."

But back to the UK in April. The direction of high-altitude jet currents really will not allow spring to come into its own, on the contrary, it promises the risk of snowfalls and night frosts in the north and east of the country. Meteorologist Jonathan Powell, of Vantage Weather Service, said: “God knows we have endured the agony of this long winter, but if people don't see the sun next month, my advice is to use the right airline.

The lack of precipitation is, of course, comforting, but do not forget about an extra layer of warm clothing before going outside. May, I hope, will be a salvation for us from this cold hell, at least, according to forecasts, it will be much better than now. But I am afraid that next year the weather situation will repeat itself exactly."

This Easter's cold has broken the previous year's record: eleven degrees below zero. The British have already called February, March and the beginning of April 2013 "the lost English spring". The Met Office Weather Center recorded a record drop in temperature in the North Wales region of the northern UK, northern Scotland.

“The weather is exceptional, it’s unusually cold and the cold is unusually long: small changes are expected only next week,” said Met Office employee Stephen Keats. "There is a risk of snowfalls for the weekend, in some places the snow will even fall down thoroughly, but nothing like last week's snow apocalypse is foreseen."

The travel business in Britain is suffering huge losses, measured in tens of millions of pounds.
