In 2006, in Brazil, the court heard and accepted the testimony of … already deceased person. And it was like this. In 2003, on the threshold of his own house, Ersi de Silva Cardoso was found shot to death, and suspicion of committing a crime fell on his common-law wife, Yara Marquez Barcelos. However, as proof of her innocence, the woman asked to interrogate … her own husband. Naturally, not directly (by sending interrogators to the next world), but through a medium.
And the judges agreed! The medium, after two sessions, “by the hand of the murdered” wrote the testimony of a ghost who convinced the judges that it was not Mrs. Yara who killed him. So, according to Barcelos' lawyer, "the evidence presented became irrefutable evidence that was accepted after the prosecution agreed to accept it." Yara was eventually acquitted.

An interesting case occurred in 1979, when in Evenston (Illinois, USA) the brutal murder of Teresita Baza, a Filipina maid, was investigated. Business went on neither shaky nor fast until Teresita herself began to appear every night to the close friend of the murdered Remi Chara - naturally, in the form of a ghost.
The latter asked to avenge his death and even called the name of the criminal. This, according to the murdered woman, was Alan Shawry, who that day, disguised as a TV master, entered the house and committed a terrible crime. However, even though she was dead, Teresita considered that Sean had taken the stolen jewels to his girlfriend, whose name she also gave.
The American police, although raised on horror films, did not believe the tales of talking ghosts, but just in case, they decided to shake Shawry - he was an inveterate repeat offender. To the surprise of the cops, Alan became very nervous during interrogations, so they searched his girlfriend's apartment.
And there the law enforcement officers were in for a surprise - not only were the things going on in the murder of Teresita Baz found, but also a large number of other stolen jewelry was found!
Alan, seeing that the ghost had laid him, admitted guilt in murder with the purpose of robbery, but then, on the advice of a lawyer, refused his testimony. However, later, in the course of the court proceedings, he still could not stand the nervous tension (what if this very ghost, seeing how his murderer was being acquitted, would come to strangle him at night?), Nevertheless confessed to the crime and went to jail for 14 years.

A year ago, a standard car accident in California involving several cars suddenly sparkled with new colors when the perpetrator of the accident informed police about the background of the incident. According to him, he lost control of the stolen truck because he was fleeing from the pursuing him … the living dead.
Naturally, the witness of the zombie apocalypse was immediately sent for a medical examination to find out if he was under the influence of prohibited psychotropic substances. And, quite possibly, in vain, because on the other side of the world - in Austria - something similar has already happened! And the American magazine Daily World News wrote about this several decades ago.
So, the correspondent of the publication reported that on one far from fine day, 200 dead people rose from their graves and walked in a discordant crowd through a nearby village near the town of Brook. This was observed by about 60 villagers who later gave evidence to the police.
“I don’t understand what happened and why,” the police captain who led the investigation of the case admits in an interview. “But we have questioned all the witnesses, and their testimony completely coincides. They say a large bright meteorite fell from the sky into a lake on the eastern edge of the village. After 15 minutes, all the graves of the cemetery on the western side of the village were empty: the men, women and children who were buried there entered the village. It sounds like a hoax, but it is.
A similar case occurred in the last century in India - there, about 500 dead people from the local cemetery followed to the place where two meteorites fell at once. The reanimated corpses traveled a long enough way - through the village, then across the field, and finally disappeared into the forest.
