On September 19, in the Mexican states of Morelos and Puebla, as well as in the metropolitan area of Mexico City, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 occurred. 310 people were killed and another 4,883 were seriously injured. More than 40 structures were also destroyed during the disaster. When the cataclysm ended, one strange discovery awaited the residents of the capital. We are talking about a mysterious phenomenon, the nature of which no one has yet been able to determine.
Right on one of the central streets of Mexico City, a small section of the road began to make mysterious vibrations, rising up and down again. Surprised local residents immediately dubbed this phenomenon "the breathing road" and began to shoot it without a video. However, not all townspeople were impressed by this anomaly. Many of them ran and even drove along it. Perhaps most Mexicans were simply seriously concerned about the disaster and its consequences, not attaching much importance to the fact that the road spontaneously moved, even if it was right under their feet or wheels.
The users of the World Wide Web have put forward several theories regarding the reasons for the "breathing road". Some Internet regulars believe that the slabs on the roadway continued to move due to weak tremors. According to others, the fault was in the road surface, which, due to the earthquake, looked like a spring. Still others suggest that a huge monster like Godzilla is sleeping underground, whose heavy breathing raises the plates. And they descend back, they say, under their own weight.
