Many manors and castles in Europe are famous for being haunted. Landowners themselves often spread false rumors about the devilry that supposedly inhabits their property, to lure tourists or buyers on their hind legs. Nevertheless, the mysterious incident that happened recently in the Dudley castle in the English city of Birmingham is absolutely real and rightfully claims to be a real supernatural phenomenon.
The young Harper family visited the ruins of an ancient fortress and took many pictures that day. Back home, the couple Amy and Dean decided to view the received photos on a computer. One of the images caught Amy's attention - it seemed to her that a light was on in the window on the top floor of the castle. However, when the British woman enlarged the picture, she found something much more strange and inexplicable in it. In the doorway was a female figure in a gray robe and black hair. The silhouette looks too unnatural and bears little resemblance to a living person.
Unsurprisingly, the Harpers immediately thought of the ghost. In addition, there really is a legend about the so-called Gray Lady, whose phantom lives in these ruins. According to legend, a young lady named Dorothy Beaumont once lived here, who gave birth to a daughter and died with the baby shortly after giving birth. Before her death, the woman asked her relatives that the girl was buried with her and that Dorothy's husband, with whom she had a discord, was present at the burial ceremony. However, none of these requests were complied with. Since then, it is believed that the restless spirit of the unfortunate woman wanders around the castle, it will be shown to people, reminding them of their callousness and ingratitude, until the ruins disappear.
