After the arrival of the film crew of the reality show "Ghostbusters" (TV3 channel) in Rybinsk, the telephone in the city newspaper was torn to pieces. People were interested in why the TV crew had come, to whom, they asked leading questions. It turns out that the topic raised in the program is very close to the people of Rybinsk. What is it for?
To believe or not to believe in spirits, poltergeists, ghosts and otherworldly forces? It is unlikely that anyone other than yourself is able to answer this question. And only his own experience will help to convince a person of the reality of the incredible. Here was, say, an apartment as an apartment, and people lived in it the way life dictates, in accordance with the level of well-being of the owners and their concept of happiness and unhappiness. But one day, suddenly, something in the apartment changed. Comfort has become an intangible concept, and prolonged stay in rooms has become associated with poor health. Who can explain such phenomena?
Some will look for reasons in their own lives and their behavior. Others will give up, they say, it will resolve itself. Still others will remember the brownie, the drummer and other fabulous epic characters. But a resident of Rybinsk, feeling the changes in her own house, wrote a letter to the TV show "Ghostbusters", which goes on TV-3. Apparently, she got to the address, because last week the film crew of the program visited our glorious city.
Host Denis Grebenyuk says that a lot of letters arrive on TV-3 describing phenomena of varying degrees of normality. It can be difficult to figure out how true this or that story is while sitting in a metropolitan studio. So the TV crews roam around the cities of Russia in search of … But actually, what are the "ghost hunters" looking for?
Judging by how carefully Denis chooses the words, formulating the answer to this question, ghosts in their pure form, with traditional attributes in the form of chilling howls and shackled ringing, were not encountered on the way of the group. But the strange, inexplicable, paranormal is full in every city.
“We were interested in two stories in Rybinsk,” says Denis. - One was described by a pensioner, in whose apartment it suddenly became difficult to live. Measurements of the electromagnetic field showed that the situation in the home is really strange. Another story was told to us by a young woman whose husband suddenly began to behave aggressively. An astrotypologist who worked with her says that he sees only one man in her fate, although she is not married for the first time. These oddities have yet to be explained. And it is not yet clear whether these stories will make television plots.

In the team of "hunters", in addition to an astrotypologist who deals with numerology and drawing up types of destinies in accordance with the dates of a person's life, there are psychics, clairvoyants, and bioenergy therapists. They have at their disposal quite household equipment, which is difficult to catch in space technologies. These are common thermal imagers and oscilloscopes. And, of course, video cameras and microphones.
What, in addition to the television plot, should ultimately come from using a specific set of equipment and specialists? Denis says that you shouldn't wait for magical effects. The magic wand, spells, magical passes are all elements of another opera. A team of "hunters" is trying to find explanations for the paranormal and give advice to a person how to live with all this. However, Denis himself is skeptical even about these simple tasks, which are posed by experts in poltergeist and ghosts.
- I try not to get carried away, - says the host. - This is my role in this program. If I tell you at every step that ghosts exist, they will hardly accept me adequately. I try to take a detached view of the situation, to be a transmission link between the viewer and those who have devoted their whole life to searching for the mysterious. We, in the end, do not assert anything, the audience makes their own conclusions.
There is an opinion that superstitions flourish where society is not able to cope with problems on its own. However, it is always easier to explain your failures by external forces than to make efforts and try to somehow influence the situation.
However, Denis says that a lot of letters come to the editorial office, regardless of the economic and political situation in society:
- The natural human desire is to believe in something mysterious. And, oddly enough, even the development of technology does not hinder this in any way. The main thing is not to get carried away too much, not to cross the line of an adequate perception of the world.
By letters to television, you can analyze the audience of the program. "Ghostbusters", obviously, are more often watched by those who are not used to making their own decisions. Denis could not remember a single case of appeal from entrepreneurs. He explains this by the fact that business pragmatism is incompatible with "drums and poltergeists."
However, anyone, regardless of the type of activity, may be interested in the stories of people faced with the mysterious. And the attempts of psychics and parapsychologists to explain the inexplicable.
The new season of Ghostbusters kicks off on TV-3 in August. If the plots filmed by the brigade in Rybinsk are used for broadcasting, then the audience, according to Denis, will be able to see them from August to November.
