In the village of Kiselevtsy, Kobrin region (Belarus), for many days, residents only discuss that the attacks of an unknown animal.
- It all happened in the morning, probably at three o'clock in the morning. Mom heard the geese cackling at night, - Tatyana, a resident of Kiselevtsev, emotionally tells. - We went to the site where we have poultry walking, and there - feathers and corpses. One goose is half eaten, and the rest just have bites and no blood.
- Three turkeys were also bitten by some unprecedented animal, but four chickens disappeared without a trace. As if someone took them and took them away. We do not use fertilizers; we feed animals without compound feed. We have a natural product. Geese and chickens grow for a very long time. This is a great loss for us! A couple of million for sure.
- You see, here is just a wound under the wing. And the whole carcass. And the heads are not gnawed off like a ferret does. And there is no blood, apparently, drunk, - Sergei shows photographs of the torn birds. - And the site is fenced with a metal mesh, its height - from 1.2 to one and a half meters. We did not find any trenches anywhere, only a clump of wool on a net. It is so gray, some hairs reach 10 centimeters.
At the neighbor of Tatiana and Sergei Vladimir, in early June, an unknown animal climbed into a barn with rabbits. The owner found 11 large rabbits dead in the morning.
- We took out a whole wheelbarrow of carcasses from the barn, - say the upset owners. - And this despite the fact that there is a board 25 millimeters thick! This chupacabra gnawed it, somehow opened the doors and strangled all the rabbits. Even tore the nets from the cages.
According to the residents of Kiselev, this is the seventh case of death of domestic animals in the village over the past few weeks. Locals say that this is some very strange animal. It does not look like a marten, or a ferret, or a mink, of which there are a lot in the vicinity.
- Well, judge for yourself. A ferret or marten would hardly have done that, the villagers argue. - Because if they get into the habit, then they eat to the end. As they say, all the way. You can set traps and catch them. And then they came to everyone in the village once. The ferret usually gnaws at the neck or chews off the head. But the necks and heads of our animals are intact. Only small wounds from which blood was drunk. And he usually comes at exactly three in the morning, just when everyone is asleep. That is, it is some kind of clever animal. So far, the local district militia officer and the chairman of the village council are dealing with this case. Residents of Kiselev hope that they will soon get rid of the misfortune.
