Twitter user whatmaddness posted a photo of an unknown girl holding a giant snail. In this case, the head of the mollusk is similar to a rabbit's face. The publication Mashable drew attention to this.

The publication received more than 120 thousand likes and almost 45 thousand retweets. In the comments, users began to express surprise that there are animals that look like this.
Other users have suggested that the snail can be delicious if cooked properly.
Later, the author of the publication explained that she had found the photo on the Internet and did not know who took it. Nevertheless, she managed to find out that, perhaps, the photo belongs to a Russian-speaking user and on it is a giant Achatina. Breeding of these types of shellfish is prohibited in the United States due to their harmful effects on the environment.
