Katie Mercer, mom of 3-year-old Madeleine Jones, is taken aback by an unusual phenomenon her daughter recorded when she videotaped herself on the Snapchat mobile app.
In the video (see below), the girl seems to be communicating with someone and playing some kind of word game.
A girl with a Harlequin filter thrown over her face neatly pronounces the words "Daring … little …", and then a deaf male voice, coming out of nowhere, says "Monkey."
"Monkey," the girl repeats after her voice.
According to the girl's mother, there were no men in the apartment at that moment, and after Madeleine recorded this video, she immediately showed it to her mother.
And when Katie heard a man's voice. speaking the word "Monkey", she immediately recognized in him her father Peter Mercer - Madeleine's grandfather.
Peter died of throat cancer in 2016 at the age of 63, and before that everyone called him Peter Pan because of his cheerful nature and a habit of being childish. Peter adored his granddaughter Madeleine, although when he died she was only 5 months old and does not remember him at all.

And this video is not the only proof that little Madeleine is talking to her dead grandfather. According to her mother, Madeleine often likes to sit alone on the carpet in her room and talk to someone. And when Katie asked who she was talking to, the girl replied that she was "playing with her grandfather."
According to Katie, her daughter has also told her many times about the ghost that "lives in the house." And that this is not at all like those games with imaginary friends that many children have at her age.
Some people are critical of this video. According to them, the voice of the man is either specially superimposed over the video, or it's just a glitch. But Katie says she now believes in the paranormal.
