The building, which is located at the corner of Ben Maimon Boulevard and Ibn Ezra Street in the capital of Israel, is called the "House of Death". "This is the most terrible place in Jerusalem," say the locals, "where many find their death."
In the mid-eighties, a fire broke out in this then still two-story house, which left behind only load-bearing walls. The inhabitants of the house were saved, except for the owner, Mrs. Adetto. The old owner of the building burned down with him in terrible agony. After that, the building passed to the State Office of Inheritance, later it was transferred to the relatives of the deceased Mrs. Adetto. Relatives, having made repairs, began to rent out apartments in the house. However, after a while, to their horror, they realized that the building once burnt down again demands human lives.
The tenants began to die. It is one thing when elderly residents died. But when young, strong guys suffer from cancer, dystrophy, or simply die in a dream for no reason, questions arise.
Tenants began to refuse housing. One rabbi, who wished to remain anonymous, said that under the cursed house are the graves of an ancient cemetery dating back to the "Second Temple" era. The souls of the dead, disturbed by the construction site and the fire, stand up and take revenge on the living for disturbing them. Jerusalem authorities have banned the demolition of the house to test the rabbi's claim. The building is an "architectural monument", it is forbidden to destroy it.
Ten years ago, a Jerusalem lawyer bought the building and added another floor. But the lawyer did not remain the owner of the house for long. No one knows what reasons prompted the man to soon sell the house to the wealthy English Rosenberg family. But the Rosenbergs do not live in this house - it is still empty. Mr. Rosenberg has hung on the front door a charm in the form of a huge jellyfish, but she, it seems, is not able to drive away evil spirits.
