Inhabitants of the Russian Republic of Crimea discovered something mysterious in a newspaper photo from a recent ceremonial rally.
On March 1, a festive event took place in Yalta, timed to the Day of Remembrance of the paratroopers of the sixth company of the one hundred and fourth parachute airborne regiment of the Pskov division, who died heroically in Chechnya, as well as to the Day of special operations forces. When one of the local newspapers published a photo of the rally, readers suddenly saw in black and white the image of a man, towering over a crowd of people.
Above the heads of the audience, a certain semblance of a person with a clearly distinguishable oval of the face, eyebrows, eyes and nose is really noticeable. Some Crimeans thought that this was a message from above. Someone, jokingly or not, claims that we are talking about the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The alleged ghost does not look ominous or intimidating, and therefore does not instill in Russians a sense of danger. However, where did the phantom come from?
The original color version of the photo clarified the situation. It turned out that in the black and white copy of the photo, ordinary branches were mistaken for a mysterious face. In combination with the good sunlight, the crown of one of the trees in the background formed such a strange face. Thus, it turned out to be just a pareidolic illusion.
However, many users of the World Wide Web are sure that, even despite this, the likelihood of a mystical sign from above is still possible. Indeed, such signs are sometimes given through quite real physical phenomena. Maybe this is an omen of the coming changes in the great Russian state?..
