As reported by MailOnline, American social media users were excited last week by the photos taken in Stockton, Northern California. The fact is that on Friday afternoon, the Americans captured a strange phenomenon: the formation of a luminous hole in the sky.
Now fans of the paranormal and skeptics speculate about the causes of the bright hole and put forward various theories in an attempt to explain its origin.
For example, some Twitter users have hinted that the "dip" in the sky is unlikely to lend itself to logical explanations.
"Do you really believe that a hole in the sky over Stockton is a simple cloud formation?" - the owner of the @CaPtDCharles account asked the users of the social network with this question.
Most of the Americans discussing this topic directly stated that the strange cloud is a luminous UFO or another manifestation of extraterrestrial life.

The scientific opinion is that the air passing along the propeller blades or wings expands and cools quickly, resulting in the formation of ice crystals that sink below the cloud. Thus, the spectacular circular hole is what formed above the drifting ice particles. And if the sun illuminates them at the right angle, then this leads to the formation of a bright area.
